I think people would've had a lot more respect for him if he just came out and said "those things are true, but I never brought them up in public because they're very private to me. I've been under a lot of stress because of them and didn't want to make my streams be about that kind of stuff"

Not only that, but people outside the vortex especially would've sympathized with him. How does he think "I lied to these guys about my wife being seriously ill to fuck with them" comes off better to people than "I confided with these guys that my wife was ill and they betrayed me"?

I was about to post something similar, but I think these two posts really say it all. IMO, this is another example of Phil being his own worst detractor. He'd still look awful if PPP was the one who leaked everything, but he could at least pretend to play victim and maybe get some sympathy with his dents. I mean, it's worked countless times in the past where they've overlooked Phil being awful in favor of attacking the person who proved Phil was awful. And how many tourists have basically used that same line of defense for Phil?

But now he can't even do that because he had to be the tough guy and act like he was playing 20d chess, not realizing that it arguably makes him look way more psycho than if PPP had just leaked everything on his own. Phil has done a lot of dumb things in his life, but it's usually like, spur of the moments bouts of retardation because he's a chronic liar with no impulse control. This is something he actually spent a night planning and thinking about and thought would be a good idea.

This is a perfect example of why you should always tell the truth even if it comes at the cost of short term discomfort. Phil never learnt this lesson, his thinks he can lie his way out of every situation, to the point where he has a dug a hole so deep that it's impossible to get out of. He has a spun a web of lies so big and ridiculous that any brief pain he tried to avoid is now negated by this absolutely embarrassing performance. And the funny thing is, all he needed to do was just admit the truth, nothing would have happened.

Phil is so gin and videogame-brained he treats every conversation he has with someone else like he's save-scumming a speech check in a video game. He throws out 5 contradictory things and then he's surprised at why the "NPC" he's talking to doesn't accept his speech check and gets angry when they point out that he's contradictory and is desperately trying to have them buy his bullshit. It's because he has no theory of mind, in fact he has negative theory of mind due to an unholy combination of low IQ, narcissism, autism and (I dare say this after the insane shit he did yesterday) sociopathy. The fact that he handed Rich, a stoned retard who just lost two arguments against a bottomfeeder like KingSly, a W tells me that he'd lose a battle of wits against Chris-Chan at this point. Really, all that's missing is him yelling F5 QUICKSAVE F9 QUICKLOAD during convos he has with people.

It's very reminiscent of Rekieta and his lawyer-brained attempt to manipulate and convince people. Rekieta also does this whole spiel where he contradicts himself multiple times to try to convince someone of something. In his mind if he just makes the right combination of words then he has made a robust legal argument and he'll win the "case" against the person he's talking to.

Most his ideas for shows revolve around detractors. Probably the saddest is he wanted PPP to do a series of shows felting his detractors individually.

That idea has been mentioned multiple times in the DMs, not just him wanting KC to go after detractors but he talked about how he wished Joon did a documentary on the detractors and then went on some teenage girl-tier "oh if only there was someone who would just go and expose every single of my detractors!" wishful thinking because he wants Becky to suffer like he did. Him being so desparate to find some moron to be his personal army and mob enforcer has to be one of the most underrated parts of the DMs.

Mission impossible. He has to lash out and hurt the person who hurt him, this is his main prerogative and course of action. He's already done this to people who had the misfortune of interacting with him and even to those who just made videos about him. He needs to put them down and degrade them in some way. Notice how he spent most of his time personally attacking PPP, trying to paint him as gullible, jealous, weird, homosexual and so on. It's never about thinking ahead and planning, it's the instant gratification of causing pain to those who hurt his fragile ego.

Here's a very minor thing but irks me as a wrestling storyline fag: why the fuck is it Level 666 podcast Phil? If that's what you were going for why didn't you bring back deathface (seriously bring my nigga deathface back) and do a hell-style "each feltening brings the casino fags into a deeper circle of hell"

The thing is, if The Kino Casino were the ones to actually drop the DMs, he could've done like he did with The Bank Leaks and claim that they were fabricated. Yes, the majority of people observing the drama wouldn't believe that The Kino Casino would fake DMs, but if DSP were to stick with that story, The Dents would happily accept the pignosis like they accepted the previous lies that DSP sold them.
Instead, his ego is so damaged that he makes the baffling decision to take the narrative that The Kino Casino is running with (that they were gaslighting DSP to milk content out of him) for himself and claim that akshully HE was the one that was lying and gaslighting in order to get The Kino Casino to do his bidding and drop the DMs himself. Thereby completely confirming everything Triple The-Recommended-BMI-Of-An-Adult-Male-His-Height (that's what I call him, Triple The-Recommended-BMI-Of-An-Adult-Male-His-Height, because he's going to die of a heart attack before he's 35) said before and making himself look like the bigger scumbag in the process.
Of course no one believes that DSP is some Lex Luthor/Ozymandias/Light Yagami-tier mastermind who was playing Cokeski and Triple Portions (that's what I call him, Triple Portions, because he's a disgusting glutton) like a game of chess. That's why RTU (in a rare W) immediately derailed the stream to remind everyone that Philip "Downfromtherafters" Burnell is a disingenuous and inept buffoon, who is too dumb and lazy to execute any kind of long-term con like the one he claims to have pulled on The Kino Casino.

The first point is especially ridiculous because he looks and sounds obviously pissed off, obvious cope is obvious. I think I can safely assume the rabbit thing was faked too, we have no records of him even having one.

I'm torn on the rabbit. I actually thought the other pets stuff was BS from the beginning and either Phil being weird and talking about animals in his backyard, or maybe randomly bringing up his rabbit from when he was younger because he was desperate for sympathy.

The rabbit being sick is still super suspect to me because it happens out of the blue (unless DMs are missing, which is possible) and it happens in the shakier part of the leaks where Phil seems to have finally caught on that PPP wasn't his friend, so I think he's more likely to ramp up his lying during that period.

But very early on, during the "healthy" parts of their chats, where he really seems to treat PPP like a trusted friend, Phil mentions having 4 pets specifically, and before then, he said "pets" a few times instead of "pet". Obviously with Phil there's always the chance of him lying just because that's what he does, but it was an oddly specific moment during a very friendly period, which makes me think it's real. But he never once mentions the pets being sick, and given that he mentions Khet's health issues multiple times and says his mother has less than a year to live before he mentions the sick rabbit, it seems odd. Like, he gives the impression he didn't want to talk about the rabbit because it was personal, but...saying his wife/mom are dying isn't? There was also a point early on where Phil seemed sympathetic that PPP lost a pet, and Phil mentioned how he'd be so hurt if something like that happened to Jasper, but again didn't mention the sick bunny. Also, more recently, after PPP offered to fly Phil down to Florida, Phil does use his pets as an excuse for why he can't go, but he doesn't mention the pets being sick and says he'd have to get a pet sitter. I feel like if the rabbit was really as bad as Phil claimed, he'd have mentioned it during that part specifically.

Pets can get sick pretty suddenly and things can rapidly take a change for the worse, so it's not impossible there was a sick rabbit recently, but because of all the above mentioned stuff, I don't really buy it. This is also speculation because the rabbit details were oddly specific and Phil normally sucks at lies, but I wonder if he was using stories about "Bunny" to make it sound more legitimate. I don't know if there are any videos where Phil really talks about it, but maybe some Philstorian can see if the stories line up.

TLDR it's likely Phil has three other pets, but pretty questionable whether there was a sick rabbit
