This game really feels like it was made with resentment or flat disinterest for samurai and Ninja fiction, it feels totally shallow and very poorly executed, it's clear that the devs had no love for Samurai cinema or fiction.

Compare this shit where you run around for grandma for two hours to the absolute Kino of Ghost of Tsushima's opening. Night and fucking day.

Yeah, I think I am going to retire for the evening. This game does not look interesting enough to justify me watching the same open world slop I've seen a hundred times before. We won't even get to the funny Yasuke bits until several more hours in, assuming Synth even streams that far, so that's at the very least another 1-2 more streams until we get there.

I think I'm going to play some actual good vidya for a few hours and then go to bed. Much better use of my time, Synth can play all the slop he wants. Looking forward to the review, tho.

You can play actual good vidya while using the stream as backgrounds noise. That's what I'm doing.

I liked Synthetic Man when he was a fringe person. Attracting "autists" (and emphasis on the quote on quote, these are just annoying shut ins) must be one of the reasons why he is just taking forever to do videos at this point, and instead do streams/lives. Even then, you have this.

Do you want to continue doing videos when your fanbase is composed of someone who keeps shoving pears over your screen and has a name of "Ricardo Cumsox"? Fuck off.

Shadows is one of the cases where the controversy is more interesting than the game itself. Mostly because if people didn't try to all the sudden talk the game up as some revolutionary new piece of media and not just what Ubi has been doing with AC for years now starting with Origins where they slap it in another location and call it a day then the game itself at the very best would be average. The game looks like the typical AC outing we've already been seeing but it is crazy how peolpe show just how fake they are by trying to glorify the game because of Yasuke and how they are all the sudden history experts despite literally nobody even caring who he was prior to this game (at least not these normies).

Right, sorry, I sometimes lump anything that isn't a player under the category of NPC, whether it's hostile or not. Just being overtechnical, don't mind me too much.
