Used to be very, very common for the voices to tell schizophrenics they're gay -- presumably because it was the worst possible thing anyone could imagine in, like, 1950. I've often wondered if the voices have switched to racism or pedophilia these day. Apparently not.

When I see people like this, I just get sad.

John is one of those people who is mentally ill as fuck, but he hasn't committed any kind of crime, per se.

If he had made a threat against someone, some court would have seen the nature of his illness and gave him counseling and medication or something.

But he hasn't. This poor man will just continue flying under the radar with his insanity for decades.
