Ramsey/Johnny isn't suicidal, the closest he'd ever get to direct self-harm is doing something that would hurt him and most importantly, another person. He'd only ever hurt himself to hurt someone else.

The period of time where he was actually afraid for his life when the Korean hooligan streamers were hunting him down was the best, because he knew that the legal system wouldn't harm him too badly, but random Korean internet thugs definitely could. Cops/the legal system are held to their own standard, (ideally) they can't hurt/kill you unless you prove yourself to be a threat. That is not the case for Korean youths trying to make a name for themselves.
