There are African American physicists and prominent researchers and scientists, even if you believe the whole racial iq science, that still acknowledges that generally "low iq" races call still have high iq and intelligent members. We probably agree that diversity is woke.
Why is Eli Black? It's for diversity.
Eli is an African American physicist and one of the best physicists in the U.S.
I doubt those exist at all, and most Black physicists are the result of diversity quotas. But even if you say he is legitimate, there are so few like him that they might as well not exist.
A White developer from a White country not defaulting to White characters is woke.
Elevating Blacks as a White developer in a White country is also woke.
A piece of media is made by someone. Every character in it is put there. A character doesn’t just happen to be Black. The creators decided to make them that way.
You have to ask yourself why the character is not White. If there is a good reason for it, then it’s not necessarily woke. For example, if you had a fent-dealer, rapper, or slave in your media, then it would make sense to make them Black.
The lore of KCD explains why Musa is there. It doesn’t matter if you can come up with an explanation for them being there. It is woke to promote diversity no matter how.
The only non-woke way to include diversity in a piece of media is to portray it as negative.
Diversity doesn't have a single positive side to it, so only by depicting it realistically do you avoid producing propaganda.
Musa would be woke even if he didn’t lecture the player and was made a likable character.
The word "woke" has to have meaning.
The natural state for a people is to be homogeneous, wary of outsiders, and to venerate their own. Any media that goes against this is woke.
The US in 2004 had dropped below 70% White in the 2000 census and African Americans had been there since the start before a lot of the European population immigrated, while I would agree the US was founded and for most of it's history was a White dominated and supermajority nation, the African American population can not be detached from it's identity. Your view that African Americans are all drug dealers, criminals etc is just your own hateful prejudice. Leftists largely portray rural Whites as uneducated, trailer trash and unfortunately there is some fact to that as well as portraying White southerners as bible thumping, neo klansmen and they are doing it from the same lens you are.
I don't disagree that those elements are not prevalent in the African American population by I disagree with you branding them collectively in that light and I don't think just including them is woke in the context that Valve included Eli.
