Sure, there is always healthier alternatives, but how many niggas in this world are buying sugar free low sodium ketchup? Besides, that shit tastes like ass.

I’m just saying it’s hard to pick a fine line between garbage and healthy. I think soda should be gone, but there is a ton of other shit in this world that is not healthy at all yet still deemed acceptable to the unwashed retarded nigger masses. It’s ok to treat yourself, but should it be bought with a EBT card? Ehhha? Maybe? It’s like a poptart. Yeah, it’s easy to make and kids love it, but it’s really unhealthy. Should people be allowed to buy it with help from the Feds?

Fuck if I know. But I just want hot skinny black chicks again in America instead of fat obese niggers we have now.
its an open secret that the government paying for EBT basically subsidizes the existence of frito lay and coca cola as a projection of american soft power globally. the problem is that the system has existed for long enough for those companies to get complacent and forget about their end of the bargain, and the government in usual fashion stopped tightening the reigns because it makes corruption easier. at this point they aren't even projecting american culture anymore and the entire system can probably be gutted without any real consequence to american hegemony. it might force poor people to pay $8 for a 12 pack of soda in this economy themselves instead of us giving it to them for free though, and that's also the democrats core voter base

im crankin out tears over this, for sure

This is what fucking kills me about Politics. At the end of the day it's just grifters on both sides. It's pretty fucking obvious why you shouldn't be able to buy soda with government issued money. Soda is basically liquid poison and will put you in the hospital or lead to other negative health issues if you drink it daily not to mention the amount of weight you will put on. Most people on SNAP and WIC are fucking on medicad too further draining our resources.

If you want to buy a fucking Soda spend your own money on it not the taxpayer dollars you were given too by others. Iam Miles Chong is a fucking sicko I have no idea how that dude was able to start a Twitter career with all the shit out there about that faggot.

Apparently, a fatwa has been issued to MAGA shill accounts on behalf of BIG SODA to post in favor of keeping soda in food stamps—for seemingly no reason. Some pretty big accounts are involved (and also Ian Miles Cheong, too), and allegedly, they're paying up to $1,000 per shill
Yeah soda for food stamps is fucked, it has 0 nutrition at all, even potato chips probably are more nutritious in some regards, Only a complete idiot or shill would support soda being buyable with food stamps, because....
*checks bank account, check went through*
Anyway if you don't support food stamps soda you are racist, homophobic, transphobic, and most importantly anti Semitic.

That's just mean

I know plenty of kids with normal names like

Ifone Samsung Nokia and of corse little flip phone
To be fair, Mercedes was the name of the daughter of the guy who came up with their first successful model way back when. So at least that one was a real name.
The only issue I have with the government saying that SNAP should be used on "healthy food" is that I'm old enough to remember when The Experts said margarine was healthier than butter while being unable to decide if eggs were good for you. That's not even getting into things like Nutri-Score which just seems to make shit up as they go along.

Hell, there was a time when sugar was being peddled as a diet aid.

Obviously, I'm not going to sit here and say that "why, yes, the American tax payer should pay for Tyrone's candy bars and sugar water", but I think we need to have a bigger discussion about what we consider healthy.
I could go on a screed about how awful cereal in general is for you, how there's no such thing as a real, 'healthy' cereal. I think cereal and soda are two of the biggest examples of corporate meddling within government. Obscene amounts of money and advertising pushed to trick customers into thinking their food was just a "balanced breakfast" (no motherfucker on the planet was cooking up a full plate of eggs, sausage, beans, toast, and cereal), and just as much shoved into the faces of lawmakers to keep them looking the other way while they straight up fabricate information on their packaging and in their marketing. They know that if people knew how bad their shit was for them they'd be selling a lot less of it.

I said it earlier in the thread, but I've never once had to be sold on spinach or carrots.

Honestly, I think no one should be buying Poptarts because they're fucking nasty.
I swear poptarts are made in India or some shit these days. They have the icing looking great on the box with all the swirls and everything and back in the day the poptarts would actually look like that when opened but today when you open one you get a smudge of icing smeared over the poptart like it was given a dirty sanchez. The filling used to be spread out evenly but now you just get a dollop of goo sometimes in the middle or sometimes off to the back. I seriously dont understand how Poptarts have decreased in quality so bad but it's an embarrassment and Trump needs to make Poptarts great again.

"The average SNAP (food stamp) benefit per person is estimated to be around $187 per month" according to google.

Just checked the Walmart website. Two pounds of frozen corn/peas/mixed veggies? $2.50. 5-6 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breasts? $12. A pound of ground beef? $5. 10 pounds of russet potatoes? $5. 18 large white eggs for $7, and a package of bacon for $5. A 3 pound bag of apples for $4. I even set my preferred store to one in NYC, just in case the prices were higher in the city.

There's literally no reason not to restrict food stamps to real food. Not only is it cheaper, but it's healthier, and it supports our nation's farmers.

It’s time to let go of clown world things, even things you used to love. Really you can still hold onto it and even love it, but recognize the toxic cancerous Jewish messages within and don’t just allow them to enter your brain unfiltered and pollute your mind and soul. Just be smart and not a reactionary manbaby seething that someone pointed out very real flaws in shit you like.
Ok Kylo Ren.
Let the past die. Kill it if you have to.

That's what I was thinking a little earlier myself. Now that the machine propping them up has been gummed up they have to walk it back to the center to try and pull in any kind of more moderate viewership from MAGA. At the end of the day they're a business and need to make their money. They'll say whatever they have to in order to keep the gravy train afloat
We don't want them to say whatever, we want them to be factual and objective

There is so many items that are legit pure poison. Top ten things I see people buy that offer zero benefits:

1. Hawaiian sweet rolls or white bread.
2. Brats, sausages and most deli meats.
3. Cookies.
4. Most crackers.
5. Ice cream.
6. Most frozen dinners.
7. Jam.
8. Juice/mix powders.
9. Ketchup
10. Potato chips/doritos.

I’m down with the feds banning soda just because it’s legit has nothing to offer, but where do you draw the line? Even lunchy, despite being moldy shit sold by a fag, still probably has some tiny benefit of some kind.
Take that back about sausage you fucking faggot.

WIC and SNAP should be melded together into a single program.

You get a specific list of things and specific amounts of things you can buy.
list yes, amounts nahh. Seriously I've seen niggers who get into screaming matches at the local sandwich shop because they don't understand that they can't spend their snap on hot food and cigarettes.

Every day for the last 12 years something like this happens, and my faith in humanity dies a little. I feel like the parents in that Furry coming out picture.

They won't, and that's what I'm saying. The mouthpieces will say whatever appeals to the largest amount of their perceived core viewership; the path of least financial risk. They have no scruples, and they'll slide around the political spectrum to whatever point makes them the most money. If that means next week we see CNN going "here's why birth control is good actually" or how much Biden's immigration policy cost then you can bet your bottom dollar they will do it.

They are not there to say what they believe in (one could argue they shouldn't be doing even that and should just stick to the straight dope reporting with no dumbass opinion pieces or debates); they're there to tell you what they think you want to hear and what will keep you glued to their program.

Aside from the Paul Harrell pfp meme I use (rest in peace good sir), I don't eat they anymore. Apart from all the stupid ingredients in them and such, they still have HFCS (High Fructose Corn Syrup) in them.

A common meal I make for my family is to cook an onion in a drizzle of olive oil, add in 3 cans of black beans, 3 cans of kidney beans, 2 cans of diced tomatoes, and then season with cumin, black pepper, chili powder, paprika, and garlic powder. Serve that over 2.5-3 cups of rice, and sprinkle with a bit of shredded cheese if desired. The beans, onion, and tomatoes add up to about $9, everything else is hard to estimate the price of because I use such a small amount of the container (and buy the rice in 20 pound bags, I have a large family), but altogether I'd say it costs between $11 and $13 on the high end. It fills an extra deep 9" x 13" glass pan, is very filling, and gives maybe 10-12 full meal servings on average depending on who is eating it exactly. It's healthy, and very filling, much more so than junk food.
That sounds like shit bro. Are you a fucking beaner or something? You eatin BEANS instead of MEAT?
