Their brains tells them that le evil society is racist, and racist hates black people so to own the racist society they put so called "black coded" features (wich in reality are just racial steryotypes caricature features) like wide noses or thick fish lips on characters even if they're not white because "black is beautiful and if you dont like it youre racist"
