So weird that this comes out now, because I was just rewatching evidenze.zip 2 for the first thing since it went up like a year or so ago. Was just reminded of it while watching melee videos and I remembered "oh yeah this community is filled with autists and drama"

The biggest problem of the original video was that he exaggerated the issues with Leffen to an absurd degree, yet he starts out the video by going on about its COLLATERAL DAMAGE and EXTREME CONSEQUENCES. So he clearly hasn't learned that was the whole reason that video was so infamous in the first place. Honestly if anything Leffen benefited from the video's release in the grand scheme of things, he's an asshole in a lot of ways but being targeted by a bizarre Me Too hit piece helped him come across as a victim of sorts if anything

After being banned from individual tournaments despite the expiration of his community ban, he spoke out about it and received a lifetime community ban for doing so. This new video basically says a lifetime ban under these circumstances is cruel and unusual.

He is persona non grata among the entire melee community. One tournament operator basically told him to kick rocks.

I can't help but sympathize with him, assuming he's not cherry picking his interactions with TO's post-ban. Many TO's didn't even bother responding to him to explain their position, so they forced his hand into releasing the previous appeal which triggered this ban. Just goes to show how retarded the entire community is. Just tell him to fuck off like pic related!

Another thing, I don't understand the governing body who is issuing these bans. If TO's can override the decisions of this body then what's the point of them all agreeing to abide by it?
