Try reading the article from the point of view of Israeli interests.

The pro-Israel journalist Jeffrey Goldberg was somehow accidentally invited into the group chat by Michael Waltz. Waltz served under Bush and Cheney as a defense policy director. Waltz is in favor of military intervention in the Middle East.

Goldberg chooses to report on the conversation between JD Vance and Pete Hegseth (and not other conversations in the chat).

JD Vance questions if there might be good reasons to delay this Middle Eastern intervention in Yemen citing domestic concerns like oil prices, and European diplomatic concerns (which are different than Middle Eastern concerns).

Pete Hegseth recommends staying with the "Bidens fault" and "Iran funded" talking points. Hegseth says delaying could be bad if somebody leaked the plans or Israel acts before the US does. Then he gives a rah-rah America pep talk.

The article was posted here by our very own Israeli correspondent Catch the Rainbow.
Seems like this Michael guy should be fired with prejudice then.

Pho from a locally owned vietnamese diner is infinitely more healthy than whatever slop they wanna serve you.

Eat pho
Alternatively Tom Kha Gai. Really easy to make and can be made quickly while Pho takes Pho-ever. I use this paste, it's cheap and lasts forever. Also pretty healthy as long as you don't over salt it. Mushrooms for vitamins, chicken for protein, lots of herbs, the only kinda expensive thing for it is coconut milk.

conservative grifters say that the only people on welfare are black people intentionally leeching off of it
Conservative grifters are the ones currently saying that we shouldn't remove soda and other unnecessary garbage from being SNAP eligible because "we can't tell people what to spend their money on" like snap is the money of the recipient to begin with and we can't try to limit the options of SNAP eligiblity to actual necessities instead of diabetes cakes and heart attack juice because it's torturing people on SNAP by doing so.
>just remember everybody, warhawking and needless interventionism is evil except when Trump does it
As has been gone over multiple times mostly because this is old news and as much as I want the US to fully pull back into a sort of fortress island form the Houthis are pirates that are attacking shipping lanes and disrupting global trade, so this isn't needless interventionism.

Your piddling tax dollars are chump change compared to what Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Nabisco, General Mills, and Tyson will pay directly to congresspeople and right-wing "influencer" shills. I said from the beginning, it's pure hopium to think that you can micromanage the foods that EBT recipients are allowed to buy, because the lobbyists will outbid you every time.

The best way to cut EBT spending is to root out fraud, particularly among vendors. It takes two to commit EBT fraud, the one with the card and the one who redeems it. There's no big-money lobby protecting bodegas and mini-marts. The big-box retailers would probably be willing to pay some nice lobbying bux to put them all out of business.

So apparently there are three separate men all of whom are gay that were deported in that last round-up that were suspected of having gang ties that the libs are bitching about today. My two liberal coworkers were bitching about how this is just the new secret police with how they're "disappearing" people with no due process. I've looked around but the only articles I could find were from lefty rags. Do these asylum seekers have to have court appearances to be deported regardless of whether Trump invoked the enemy aliens act or whatever it's called? I guess that's what the judge was calling for. I'm a little confused with this one.

The JD-hegseth leaks just make them seem based to me. Gonna be honest casually saying how you are gonna bomb terrorists and talking about making the europoors pay for it make me smile.
It's not the self-own libs think it is. Anybody who already likes the two of them will ask you "yeah, and?", as if it's not what they wanted in the first place. How some journo got into the group is another story though.
I think it's fucked up that America is dictating to the lower class what they can and cannot put in their bodies. This is no different from when they were enforcing the vaccine on everyone, where are the truckers out protesting this appalling overreach of authority? Let's get out there and call on Congress to Dew it Right™
I disagree. It's a known fact that sugary drinks like soda fatten you up. While it's one thing to tell people you can't buy it period, we're talking about the government telling you what you can do with the government's (your) money; which in this case is poisoning yourself with soda and similar sugary shit.

Did you see the JFK files? What the fuck could they possibly release that we don't already know at this point? Celebrities and globohomo elites fucked underage girls on the island, Epstein probably isn't dead, CIA and Mossad set it up. Book is closed at this point. I actually care more about getting soda off food stamps more than the Epstein bread and circus show, because it's policy that will actually change something.
The difference is that JFK was assassinated over 60 years ago and the Epstein situation happened only 6 years ago. Some of us would like to see the monsters responsible get justice served to them but unfortunately most people these days just don't care and would prefer if everyone just forgot about it because it might make Trump's administration look bad for fucking up the Epstein release.
