And Israel did take actions on their own. The ceasefire in Gaza fell apart soon after that conversation, the Houthis attacked Israel in retaliation, and the US was forced to immediately attack the Houthis. Exactly what Hegseth predicted would happen if their plans got leaked.

The journo and the guy who invited him to the chat are likely Israeli informants.
Israeli informants!? In the US government!? *pretends to be shocked*

That Pete Hegseth is quite the prognosticator. Where does he get such insights?

“DEFENSE SECRETARY PETE HEGSETH: When I was doing a series for Fox Nation I did an interview while getting tattooed by the only tattoo artist in Bethlehem.

I got Yehweh -- Jesus in Hebrew.

Also on my forearm I have a Benjamin Franklin, effectively, political cartoon from the 1760s. It's the Join or Die snake.

I've got Deus Vult -- God Wills It -- which was the cry of the Crusaders on my bicep.

I have a big flag with the AR-15 I carried in Iraq on my bicep.

Then on my shoulder I have my unit crest of who I served with in Iraq.

My entire pec is a Jerusalem cross. Israel, Christianity and my faith are things I care deeply about.”

My son once ruined his gym shirt by leaving half a peanut butter cookie on top of it in his backpack; the grease stain never came out.

Not a very salient argument for the quality of the food. If your home made cookies wouldn't do the same thing they're dry as hell like shelf stable junk. My home made scratch baked cookies have a bunch of butter in them and they'll ruin your clothes if you let them set there all day too, they're cookies, they aren't supposed to be healthy because they aren't supposed to be eaten regularly. Personally I don't give a crap about this school lunch argument, school lunches are for kids whose parents are "too busy" for them (bullshit) or are absent. If my children got a school lunch, it would be because a catastrophe prevented my wife from making them lunch or meal prepping. What I don't want is my tax dollars funding shanqueesha's obese crotch goblins 2 gallons of soda per week, so this OH NO NOT THE HECKIN SODA thing needs to die on the vine.

I enjoy soda, I simply exercise and diet appropriately.

I think we should cut all welfare benefits including food stamps and nothing should be subsidized in the grocery store.

We should just end SNAP in general and allow people to get basics like rice and beans, and other staples, from food pantries using more efficient direct to consumer approaches. No one goes hungry, but you don't watch well unless you work.

JD Vance Explains Trump's Vision To Undo 40 Years Of Failed Globalization

“The first is assuming that we can separate the making of things from the design of things. The idea of globalization was that rich countries would move further up the value chain, while the poor countries made the simpler things,” continued the Vice President.

“But we got it wrong. It turns out the geographies that manufacture get awfully good at the designing. There are network effects. The firms that design products work with firms that manufacture. They share intellectual property, best practices, and even sometimes share critical employees,” he said, America’s great business builders in attendance.

“We assumed other nations would always trail us in the value chain, but it turns out that as they got better at the low end, they also started catching up on the higher end. We were squeezed from both ends.”

US economic ideology is undergoing a profound shift, and hardening, it’s a vast experiment of enormous consequence.

“The second conceit is that cheap labor is fundamentally a crutch, and it’s a crutch that inhibits innovation. If you can make a product more cheaply, it’s far too easy to do that rather than to innovate,” he said. “Whether we were offshoring factories to cheap labor economies or importing cheap labor through our immigration system, cheap labor became the drug of Western economies,” he said.

“And if you look in nearly every country, from Canada to the UK, that imported large amounts of cheap labor, you’ve seen productivity stagnate. The connection is very direct,” said Vance.

The fundamental goal of President Trump’s economic policy is to undo 40 years of failed economic policy in this country. For far too long, we got addicted to cheap labor and we got lazy. We overregulated our industries instead of supporting them. We overtaxed innovators, instead of making easier for them to build great companies, and we made it way too hard to build things and invest in things in the USA.”

You mean something like requiring 90% of funds be used in group one where things like produce, dairy, grains, etc are and the other 10% allowed for group two where soda, candy, etc are?
So 10% of Medicare spending should be allowed for cosmetic surgery like boob jobs and face lifts?
I see no reason why not allowing actual trash on snap is impeding on anyone's freedoms. Just use your own money. Like everyone else.
That said if they did "only 10% for processed foods the other 90% must be used for whole food ingredients only" I wouldn't be that mad about it. It would at least probably be an improvement to the current "60% of what people are eating is hyperprocessed". Even more in the case of children by the way.

Edit: I can see the percentage cutoff being a logistic nightmare though. Though perhaps there'd be an easy way to do it.

OK, let's actually lay it out.

For the most part, nobody REALLY cares about the family who grabs a case of soda and maybe a little junk food for the kids, while buying regular groceries for the rest of the month, saving some back for fresh vegetables, loaves of bread, stuff like that for the rest of the month.

What you're REALLY mad about is thse people who are 4th and 5th Generation Welfare and SNAP grabbers, who get THOUSANDS of dollar in benefits because they are part of groups that no how to leverage their situation into the MOST benefits.

You aren't mad at Sally at the trailer park or Jaquanda in the projects.

THIS is who you're sick of.

The ones that have an entire system who support her using her SNAP for shit that is forbidden for most people, with five to ten times the amount that everyone else gets. The ones who just stay pregnant and know EXACTLY when to have a kid to maximize the benefits.

--EDIT--

That's like the illegal daycares that have like 4-6 little shitheads running around squalling. Depending on the state you could get $250 per kid per week back in the early 2000's, so who knows what it's like now. The illegal daycare can sometimes get SNAP pushes, get all the state shit despite not being certified or anything like that. They kick back some of the weekly check to the mother so she gets even MORE for having kids.

Having a parent who isn't on assistance (or some st ates allow it) watch the kids, the parent gets the check and often splits it.

Most of these people don't have to push too much for cash. TANF provides the cash, its usually the addicts selling access to their card and that isn't till later in the month. (Plenty of Habeeb run stores will let you buy smokes with EBT, same with beer. "Buy 12 boxes of Lemonheads for $15 and get a free pack of cigarettes" scam)

It's the fact that certain segments of the population (Illegal immigrants, ghetto dwellers, barrio smugglers, white trash) all view this stuff as their due.

EBT
TANF
WIC
Sec-8
Medicaid
Utilities 4 All (or its equivalent)
Taxi services, bus and transit tickets, paid for Uber cards, etc.

They view all of that as their due and have been threatening riots for decades if they're cut.

Admit it, you don't care about someone who lost their job and are busting their ass trying to get another one having a soda or two.

You're pissed at the ones who have done nothing but live off of it all their lives.

From cradle to fucking grave.

@Noom Boom I can't quote your post for some reason but thanks for clearing that up. Since you mentioned that the courts will have to end up interpreting the law I'm a little afraid now that Roberts will absolutely cuck if it goes to the supreme court. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
I probably agree with having the invasion/incursion section clarified, with it being such vague language. I understand the worry that restricting the act to only times of declared war could place undue hardship on the government in times of need, but on the other hand, in the 250 years that the act has been around, there has never been a time where the US has been unable to invoke these powers when necessary. That combined with my propensity to err on the side of citizen rights over big government would sway me more to say that, regardless of whether what is being down right now is currently legal, it probably should not be.

This is why discussions about welfare in this thread are so retarded; conservative grifters say that the only people on welfare are black people intentionally leeching off of it and peoples' hatred for blacks overrides all common sense.
you raise an interesting point.

Fuck it I m gonna tag @Null yo feeder you are opposed to welfare because white english men like vordrack and the mountain jews are paid to exisit and use the system to harass you....Do I have that right?

This Russian/globalist facade of deliberately-confusing contradictory 4D chess sure does sound a lot like something else.
I'm gonna clue you in on something, no one really does. They just have rationalizations for what they do.
That doesn't mean what I posted isn't happening.
Putin and Trump are both in charge. So how is it all just "incompetent faggotry".
This implies everyone else is even more of an incompetent faggot because they don't have anything against it.
I used to think the biggest conspiracies were like, "they infiltrated the country" and "they completely ruined the economy."
But now I see the biggest conspiracy is "everyone is stupid" because its 80 percent true and the 20 percent get to abuse that.

Politicians and salesmen have a lot in common. Both are going to ride by the seat of their pants to convince you to go along with whatever they want done, and then they'll do the same thing tomorrow regardless of the outcome (unless you kill them, I guess.) Incidentally this is probably why there's so many jews in these positions. Jewish history can be summarized as them acting as an obnoxious diaspora who uses the methods I just describe to do everything from run markets to invent taxes until, finally, they get kicked out.

why do the VP and Def Sec have to talk about war plans on a messaging app that people without military clearances are on and can easily be brought into by accident or on purpose?

we are the most powerful nation the world has ever seen, can they not get a private messaging app that's designed to only connect the very top people in the administration and that's it? fucking Walmart has an app that only connects other Walmart employees, why doesn't the fucking government?

This was very clearly an intentional leak. It’s obvious both by what they talked about, how they talked about it, and who in particular got added to the group. There’s no way the person orchestrating it didn’t know the journalist was in there. You don’t accidentally add a journalist into a secret military briefing
