Navy SEALs, Delta Force, and SOCOM general - The most "Special" groups in the U.S. Military

While armies are trying to transition to drones, UAV, UGV, thermals, sensors integration and other new technologies for the future, this dude is obsessed about which is the best way to break into a house. Sorry, let me rephrase that, he's obsessed about which is the best way to break into a house and kill people inside that does NOT make a "pussy".
The Virgin CQB versus the Chad Saturation Bombardment.
It would seem so. I checked it, and there were no posts in u/Kraken101. Someone DFE. Apparently people in Reddit are using the clout of the farms to gayop between themselves? Just when I thought this couldn't get any gayer.
I have one too they can't sleep post my on hindrance against women transgender and the feminist movement and constantly screaming about my lack of punctuation which I would never fix because you can't make me communists

It's really not hard to deal with terrorist organization stop treating any of the people who live in the areas they control as anything besides collaborators and start using saturation bombardment that's how the Russians dealt with the Chechens and it was extremely effective or just don't engage in those type of wars.
Groups like the Houthis only have power because America refuses to get our hands dirty if I was president there would be a saturation bombing we wouldn't be wasting smart bombs they'd be nothing but a bunch of cheap dumb bombs in B-57 sevens bombing everything that is more than two feet tall into the dirt.

And we still have all our battleship load those cannons up and reduce everything within 30 miles of the coast into literal ruins.
Contrary to popular belief if you kill all of the terrorists civilian supporters they don't win they just stop existing that's how the Soviets used to deal with the organizations of that cowboy you know why the Forest Brotherhood stopped being a problem in the 1950s because Joseph Stalin had everyone remotely involved in it executed just entire villages wiped out.

I strongly believe the US Navy sees the campaign against the Houthis in Yemen as a live fire training exercise. They want the crews of destroyers and carriers to get used to operating in waters where drones and missiles are being shot at them, tracking and engaging contacts on radar, and just accumulating experience both to use now and to inform future training. They aren't trying to "win" and probably don't want it to end. I know people who are super stoked to have Combat Action Ribbons because their ship shot down a drone with a missile or something. The last thing they want to do is silence the Houthis with carpet bombing.

I’m only speculating but I think he’s attempting to call out that account as kraken101? I checked the account he replied to and he uses the exact same verbiage, doesn’t cite sources, is really into gear and only talks about jsoc and gear. Reminds me of a certain Brazilian who was doxxed again on reddit recently, his name is andre or something.

Edit: Furthermore when I search OGA on this forum, a post about Matt being OGA and him working on a geissele rifle exactly like the a comment by the reddit account, it’s not exactly common knowledge Matt contracted for OGA

What is physical therapist’s new account? What is he on about

Just so the thread doesn't get derailed, I would just ignore what random Redditors are doing unless relevant to the topic. If there's gayops that shit the thread in this website, I think the smartest option is to open a TTS thread and not give them attention. The LARP has been fun, but I wouldn't read too much into it.

One thing that I also recommend in general is not an obscure acronym. That's to help the readers who are not familiar with the topic. OGA stands for "Other Government Agency", which is just the CIA (From what Kiriakou said, that acronym was created for the extreme rendition into black sites), So instead of saying OGA, let's just call it the CIA, so that people reading get it. (Same goes for example for CAG, SMU, 3rdOSG, which are all acronyms for Delta)

Stealth Blackhawk was probably tested there but no idea why rando SEALs would need to go see it.
Allegedly Admiral Bill McRaven had a real hard on for the stealth helicopters. Sean Naylor's Relentless Strike talks about McRaven essentially solely deciding they would be used against advice from experts.

Did they do any training runs in the stealth versions before the mission? Maybe there were differences in the cabin and fastroping they needed to work out.

It raises the question of whether the Seymour Hersh conspiracy theories are correct that Pakistan knew they were coming and turned off their defenses. Since the QRF was fine and they flew in on regular Chinooks

it is SO over OGAbros
lol

But 4 realz now. Seymour's work is very sloppy now. At least in how he presents it. In the article, it says as reference:

"The major US source for the account that follows is a retired senior intelligence official who was knowledgeable about the initial intelligence about bin Laden’s presence in Abbottabad. He also was privy to many aspects of the Seals’ training for the raid, and to the various after-action reports. Two other US sources, who had access to corroborating information, have been longtime consultants to the Special Operations Command."

So three anonymous sources. One from the CIA/NSA and two consultants for SOCOM? Okay who?

"On a normal assault mission, the retired official said, there would be no waiting around if a chopper went down. ‘The Seals would have finished the mission, thrown off their guns and gear, and jammed into the remaining Black Hawk and di-di-maued’ –Vietnamese slang for leaving in a rush – ‘out of there, with guys hanging out of the doors."

I've never heard a GWOT veteran use the Vietnam slang di-di-maued. Hersh is famous for his Vietnam reporting. So this dude must have been an old timer. And I'm surprised not one SOCOM source corrected him in the simple SEAL vs Seal typing if this article was proofread at all.

Seymour also recently got burned with anon sources in the Nord stream bombing, where he claimed the US did it, when it later came out it was the Ukrainians. Again, my point isn't that it's unbelievable that the Pakistanis knew about the raid, it's just that Seymour is not doing it justice and doesn't present it in a believable way, imo.

I hope he's not going to send any delta force bros to come fuck my shit up now
Just watch out for Cybertrucks VBIEDs. Vining, being an EOD expert, could actually make a really spicy one.

Justin Taylor, former Army Lt., made an informative video about Green Berets.

Cocaine, crime and gambling in Bragg are mentioned. Bob is playfully jabbed (wearing his DMT hat and ibogaine shirt) and even the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School is mentioned too! Galen Huss was a part of that School (his crime got ballwashed by General Guillaume Beaurpere who was the head of the school at the time)

If Justin happens to be a thread watcher, hi dude. Sorry about your knees and hearing issues (And photophobia, maybe he suffered a concussion) I hope you get better Justin!

Politico article about the abundance of SEALs in Congress / Archive

"When I spoke with Luttrell, I asked him if his service on the Hill scratched the same itch as his service in the SEALs — if, as he had suggested earlier, political skirmishes offered something of the same thrill as actual warfare."

*Edit- It's also historically illiterate. Our ancestors conducted siege warfare which was the opposite of dynamic.
This is a common theme in "warrior" personality types, or I guess brovets we'd call them. I dunno if a lot of these guys had shitty parents or something, but all the ancestors I actually knew — my parents, my grandparents, and my extended family — would not have wanted me to go shoot people in their own homes at 2am on the other side of the world for ZOG. Sometimes I think if guys like Pranka stopped drinking, they'd have to confront too much of what they actually did and start to reconcile it with their ideas of what the afterlife is going to look like for easily manipulated murderers. But I doubt Pranka in particular ever will stop drinking. He had that massive on-stream meltdown back in like November, took some time off — first appearance back, beer in hand.

For anyone not already in the know, The Atlantic magazine editor Jeffrey Goldberg was invited to a Signal group chat with a bunch of cabinet members about 3 days before the Yemen bombing campaign took place.
Talk about a massive "erm, oopsie" OpSec breach moment. Allegedly, Michael Waltz, National Security Adviser, added Jeffrey to the chat. Makes sense to me. He's putting his Special Forces OpSec knowledge to good use :story:

I'm not a big fan of all this, but I'm more worried about the implications of using a civilian, unsanctioned method to discuss multimillion-dollar ops, and whether or not Mike Waltz will be held accountable for this. My assessment is high confidence for "no punishments" besides a stern talking to for whoever made the fuckup; and that using Signal to communicate instead of talking in person in the Situation Room will continue in Trump's White house.

Bob, what did you teach SECDEF about OPSEC?! 🧐

I love stiff lip supplement commercials lmao. And I agree, Pranka will stop drinking when Ralph does.
