Yup. Sounds like Daniel's thinking of setting up a lovenest with his new girlfriend. We've heard tell about this a couple months ago already, in other oblique clues. Daniel's been with this person for months, which means Becky's been refusing to meet her for months and then complaining she's a stranger who can't see the baby.

She made some sort of "she can have him" kind of post right around the time of the breakup. But the real evidence that this has been happening behind the scenes is that Daniel has been deprogrammed to some extent, and seems to be growing at least the vestiges of a spine.

I think they've been dating four or five months. Why do I think this? Daniel's a monkey-brancher. He doesn't start picking fights and trying to get out of one relationship until he's got the next one lined up. And four months ago we had this moment.

Also somehow I missed this lunacy when it was posted in late January. She'd have the right to visitation in almost all cases, but more like Ethan Ralph than a real parent. She has done absolutely zero for that child.
