NPCs herded into thinking voter ID laws are racist because the man on the TV told them so, also because that line probably evokes subconscious memories of white hate lessons in grade school about segregation and slavery

Heres some late 00's propaganda

The failure of reconstruction is whats to blame, the freed slaves were not allowed the franchise. One common excuse was you had fucking blacks that were bornin 1910 to poor share croppers and their births were never recorded. along with literacy tests and bunch of shit that were applied to blacks, but not whites.

Granted that isnt the case anymore but that was the situation at the time.

Again its knock on effect.

I support voter ID but as in it needs to be applied when put on the voter rolls not when you cast the vote.

It doesn't need to be a hypothetical, it happened when Trump made fun of that one reporter and the MSM tried to torpedo is campaign with it.
I remember this. It was funny then, it was funny now. I knew after he survived that moment, he was going to outlast any media attack campaign. Everyone thought it was funny, and no one cared except the MSM.

The difference between that and "Hotwheels," is that one took place at a raucous rally where anything goes, the other at a press event for the Human Rights Campaign. The republicans also haven't exactly been the biggest disabled rights advocates but the democrats always make a big deal about it, thus making her attack even more hilarious.

you really think some negress knows who that is? as far as she's concerned Bill Clinton invented the democratic party.
To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't be surprised that if she is even aware of FDR there is a good chance she doesn't like him for not being pro-Black enough.

Since coke changed the design (blatantly to trick people) of coke zero to look more like normal coke, it finally happened that I accidently bought one.

Took it home and realised, Put some spoonfuls of sugar in it.
It sort of actually was less shit tasting.
Very very flat though.
They actually used to sell that ready-made, it was called C2. Half coke zero, half coke, like 70 calories a can. I liked it a lot but I also like regular coke zero

Circuit panel says Trump can enforce ban on some refugee admissions

A federal appeals court ruled Tuesday that President Donald Trump can partially enforce a refugee ban while a legal fight over his executive order is adjudicated in the coming months.

A three-judge panel in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, citing precedent that federal law “exudes deference” to the president on immigration policy, lifted part of a lower court’s injunction last month that instructed the administration to resume refugee admissions despite Trump’s order Jan. 20 that suspended the program for at least 90 days.

But the appeals court also stipulated that the administration must honor the resettlement of all individuals whose refugee status was conditionally approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services before the order took effect. Some refugee aid workers said thousands of people are thought to have received conditional approval and are awaiting resettlement.

The 9th Circuit panel was composed of Judges Barry G. Silverman, appointed by President Bill Clinton; Bridget Shelton Bade, appointed by Trump; and Ana de Alba, appointed by President Joe Biden.

The ruling represents a partial setback for immigrant rights groups that had sued to stop Trump’s executive order. Last month, District Judge Jamal N. Whitehead issued a preliminary injunction blocking the administration from implementing the refugee ban, saying Trump’s executive order usurped the authority of Congress. The Justice Department appealed that decision.

Whitehead issued a second injunction Monday evening, reversing the Trump administration’s attempts to halt State Department funding for refugee-resettlement programs in the United States, including federal contracts for aid groups. Lawyers for those groups said that injunction remains in effect.

The 9th Circuit is in the process of considering the broader constitutional arguments over the legality of Trump’s refugee ban. In issuing its decision Tuesday, the three-judge panel said the president is empowered with significant authority on immigration matters, citing a 2018 Supreme Court ruling that upheld Trump’s effort in his first term to impose a ban on travelers from certain countries on national security grounds.

“We are fighting with our clients to keep the refugee program open,” said Linda Evarts, an attorney for the International Refugee Assistance Project, one of the plaintiffs challenging Trump’s refugee ban. “Today, the 9th Circuit ruling ensures that it remains open in part. We will continue that fight and will litigate those issues to the full extent of the law.”
Lawfare failure is a beautiful thing to see.

Imagine time traveling to 2009 after Barack Obama's inauguration and showing people that this is the state of politics in the future they chose.

There is something rather funny in watching a Democratic Party politician mock their opposition for having to use a wheelchair.

I guarantee Jasmine Crocket has no clue who FDR is.

Why do they have to get so mad? Is it just insecurity? If I saw someone plant a foreign flag on a hiking attraction, the first thing I would assume would be that it's a token of comradery. As in, "I'm from [blank] and I used this trail too." Even if it was for the reason that OP makes it out to be, it would just be a bit of banter, right? Redditors are astonishing creatures.

ETA also hmmm...

Would something like The Daily Wire be called a, how you say, astroturfed conservative organization? Last I remember of The Daily Wire was a Family Guy animated ripoff featuring a woodshop teacher that makes conservative dad jokes but strangely omits any Jewish jokes unlike Family Guy or American Dad.

Susan "Benghazi was caused by a YouTube video" Rice has some nerve saying this group chat was "the biggest national security debacle that any professional can remember.”

They're making a big deal about this because they have nothing else. They have nothing positive to focus on so they're going to make this seem as devastating and embarrassing as possible. It's why they'll ignore Hillary's emails or immediately claim "Whataboutism" if that or anything else is brought up. And of course people are going to eat this up even though it objectively doesn't matter and didn't lead to anything that wasn't already done.

Also who cares what Greenland and it's people think about Vance and his wife's visit? The country has a population a tenth the size of Wyoming's. No one is doing anything or utilizing most of its land or resources, the citizens of Greenland should just shrug and go along with it like they've always done.
