If you've ever been locked out of all accounts believe me its not a fun time. Especially when you enter the password that you haven't changed in ages and the faggy password app is having a retard moment and tells you that its wrong, so you go into fucking super hyper panic mode over it.

I mean technically you should write down all your passwords on paper or keep a manual backup somewhere but there does come a point where you have so many accounts and passwords that management of it all becomes very much not trivial to deal with anymore.

Compounding this problem is that many website that require 2FA will be fucking faggots to you and be like "oh we don't recognize this IP address, please check your email!" even though you've just entered a fucking 2FA code. So if you lose access to the email you might be fucked also.

TLDR: buy a second budget/basic phone with all of your accounts logged into and your 2FA shit on it also.

I had this shit happen to me overseas, I got my phone stolen so I lost access to everything because 2FA is so prevalent.

My solution was just buy a burner phone there that accepts e-sims but to activate an e-sim from my carrier you need a code ... which they text to your number... which I needed the eSim to access...

Ended up having to fly to New York City and get a new sim and phone (I had insurance).

Now when I'm overseas I always use the burner (which turns out can't be used on US netwotks) with the local sim to wifi hotspot to my main phone since it's free to call US numbers overseas if you're on wifi with my carrier.

He's so dumb I think my brain is melting trying to understand what the actual problem is.
His phone is just cracked so he has his sim card still and is saying himself all he needs to do is buy a new phone to plug that card into. His TFA isn't device/app-locked and if he had an important key file to unlock his passwords on the phone he would have said so. If money is a problem he can buy a 25$ flip phone or cruise Facebook marketplace for a working used phone. Hell, he could probably even beg on there for free phone he can take for this emergency. So why is he even considering starting a new youtube account?? He wouldn't be able to be monetized for a few months under youtube's payout system iirc, there's no way he couldn't get someone to bring a phone to his house within that time.

It could happen to anyone, and I'm one of the people that gets calls from friends about their accounts/phone getting hacked and shit like that - it happens to good people and it happens to bad people, it doesn't mean they are bad people though.

Can't like most smartphones made in the last like 10 years plug like a USB C to HDMI into a TV or monitor? Even if the screen is fucked that might be better than nothing. Most android phones if you have a USB hub can accept keyboards and mice too.

From recent experience I got all my files and (more importantly) photos off of a busted phone using this method.
I couldn't get my stuff off it without access to the screen to click and allow my files to transfer so I plugged it into my monitor and a mouse to turn off that safety setting then plugged it into the computer and got it all off. But he doesn't even need to be that technical for his needs. And from his history I doubt he could do something so simple as google for a solution like that anyway

I haven't used Windows much recently but I'm pretty sure if your drive is full then it starts clearing cached files which includes browser cache to try and get enough space to keep operating, pretty sure it's some legacy feature from when clearing that cache would actually have an impact but now the space is negligible so it just causes inconveniences for no reason basically. I can't find anything about this happening because search engines are giving me irrelevant shit but I remember it happening a few times to me and having to log into everything again when my C drive ran out of space (unless I'm retarded and experiencing delusions).

Not sure what you're on about here. Windows isn't gonna arbitrarily delete session tokens or caches of a browser, or any other software for that matter, just because the volume it is installed on is full, it would just error out during the installation of the update.
