Since there's been more bird talk lately, I'm trying to find a moment from maybe two years ago. DSP was playing some kind of first person shooter I think. He ran past something in the stage he was playing and there was an odd noise. I remember there being some kind of retard drama over that clip because some detractor swore it was a cry of a baby and said Kat had been hiding a pregnancy and child. Anyone remember that? Anyways I'm trying to find that moment again to listen to the sound. In hindsight, it may have been a bird.

I’d push back on this a bit. I think it’s possible for Phil to be smarter than he appears (which only makes him more detestable) but that he’s spent his whole life developing the anti-social skills to sad bastard people into doing everything for him. At some point it becomes a hardcoded part of his psychology and mannerisms.

IQ goes down with social isolation. He's definitely not absolutely stupid, some people have been surprised at his vocabulary (when he actually uses words correctly) but he hasn't done anything to keep his brain working and he lost.

There is no way he has tax returns.

He's not employed on a payroll, so they are not retaining his taxes for him to file a return on. He has to figure out how much he owes, file his claim, then pay the taxes.

That's why people who stream, or are self-employed in general, always talk about setting aside 30-50% of their earnings for taxes.

edit: He got exceptionally lucky during COVID and other shit but people in general are penny-pinching at the moment due to cost of living increases and economic uncertainty. He's also been banning ICS/OIC/whoever for some strange reason. Very uncertain if he would even pull in like $500 or 1000 for his actual birthday at the rate things are going.

It’s something I’ve encountered a lot of as well. One of the things I’ve learned repeatedly about addicts though is their ability to go extremely far to be performatively helpless in order to get what they want. Does that mean they are willing to do anything useful or productive in order to succeed in life? Not at all, but by damn will they spend 10 hours harassing everyone they can for a dollar.

I’ll check it out. By no means do I think Phil is the paragon of intelligence but I do believe he’s adopted “I can’t” as his default setting to anything regardless of whether or not he could. This filter prevents him from even attempting to solve a problem from its outset. I could also be completely wrong.

I actually think phil would enjoy doing like a bizarro pee wee herman show where he just talks about nonsense in front of a camera all day and does like RGB light shows and dances around his room making soy faces. He could even play dress up as much as he wants, whether it's showing off his socks or talking about his mature adult shirts, he clearing loves talking about and showing off his clothes. He could wear his goofy hats and vests while singing and making soy faces. He thought knocking over his kings crown was the funniest thing ever so he could do gay little stunts like that and laugh his ass off about it. The zooming his camera in and doing the stroke soy faces would also be perfect for this kind of show. Of course poop talk and jokes would also be a core feature of this show too. As dumb as all this sounds, Phil has actually seemed really happy whenever he's doing all this kind of stuff. He clearly doesn't have the same energy or happiness while playing video games.

I vaguely remember that, I think the reason why James the Lesser (Human)'s baby theory was deboonked wasn't because the noise was something else. It was in fact the noise of a baby crying but it came from the video game he was playing.

As the self-declared staunchest defender of claiming that Phil is at least one SD below average IQ, I think that in his youth he was at worst just below average in intelligence. Being valedictorian in a B-Ballin' Tevin school isn't impressive but it still requires the ability for rote memorization and knowing how to do intermediate-level math. However, the brain is a muscle like any other, if you don't use it it's gonna get weak, if you don't use it at all you may cause irreversible damage like in his case. A decades-long alcohol addiction, social isolation, letting himself become completely incurious and developing an extreme case of learned helplessness all caused him to become one of the legit dumbest motherfuckers I've ever seen in my life. My favorite dented tech moment was last year when multiple devices failed on his network. Instead of instantly realizing that it was his network and not a massive coincidence that individual devices died seperately, he decided to sperg out about how nothing works. What's worse is that when people tried to tell him it was the network, he REFUSED, and stubbornly did everything else before finally testing the network. In the end he spent 3 hours trying to fix something when all he needed to do was turn the router off and on again. Lol
