I think the fact that TVT is still trying to pretend to be all-ages instead of just giving into the fact that most of it's userbase is horny weirdos is hurting them the most.

I hate Frieren but it's become a sacred cow because it's a very normalfag friendly anime. Much like goose shit, you can't go a few steps without having it all over your feed.

Mentioning anything about Frieren demons will summon hundreds of 90 IQ midwits who proudly don't read the manga to give the worst takes you've ever heard. I like the series itself but the fanbase is completely NPC. Tolkien would cry if he saw these people.

Whatever side of the demon debate you end up on is insufferable. "Demons dindu nuff" types will rant nonstop about how they're a standin for minorities and "Kill all demons" types just LARP about being turbo christian doomslayer fanboys. Neither one reads the manga, and I don't either because the chapters I have read are the most boring Goddamn thing I have ever experienced. Every character talks in this emotionally dead tone with a straight face and nothing really differentiates them from each other. Except Frieren who occasionally does The Funny Face™ and makes the masses stand and clap for being epic and meme-y. Nothing really happens because all the main characters are OP as shit in roughly the same exact ways and thus never, ever struggle during fights or when they run into problems while traveling through the boring fantasy world they inhabit.

That rant is super off topic but oh man I can go for hours.

Who gives a single solitary fuck about English dub voice actors? They're all ridiculously wooden, or they overact everything...and that's because they're failed actors who weren't good enough for Hollywood.

English VAs expecting the same treatment as Japanese ones who train since childhood to be voice actors is laughable. You're not a "star" because Geneon paid you $250 to dub a mediocre anime in 2006.

I hate “all star” (read: union) voice actors. I want to TooManyGames last year, and like half of the panels and attractions were voice actors. No one likes them and their bloated egos, and yet there they are.

So, I watched the Matrix (4 films + Animatrix) and I find the pages pretty funny
