On the one hand it got me interested in Ayn Rand and read her work, I don't really agree with her on some things but I found her point of view interesting given her past and how she escaped from Soviet Russia. We don't need DC lawyers for anything. There are plenty of other, non-corrupt lawyers available from elsewhere in the country. They're also better lawyers because they have to make quality legal arguments to win cases instead of relying on their friendship with the judge.
