2025-03-26 - OFCOM: "Advisory Letter: illegal content risk assessments - your duties under the Online Safety Act 2023"

Oh almost definitely. I have a sneaking suspicion that this was always designed to be toothless
Yeah it’s a check the box exercise. Like ISO9001. As long as you have a system and it’s written down, you can kind of do whatever the fuck you want unless it breaks an actual law.
It is mandatory though and it will be just as funny to see how they intend to enforce it against non-UK entities.

Kill Anglos. Behead Anglos. Roundhouse kick an Anglo into the concrete. Slam dunk an Anglo baby into the trashcan. Crucify filthy Britfags. Defecate in an Anglos food. Launch Anglos into the sun. Stir fry Anglos in a wok. Toss Anglos into active volcanoes. Urinate into an Anglos gas tank. Judo throw Anglos into a wood chipper. Twist Anglo heads off.
Muslims are already doing all of those things every single day, and the Anglos would rather police Americans in America, using free speech on the internet.

How would they even enforce that in any way?
My thoughts exactly. First of all .st is hosted in São Tomé and Príncipe. Second of all Josh is a US citized. Third of all he is residing in a different Balkan country.
Financial penalties....what??? Failure to comply both times.... what?!?

I don't get it. Can't they just block KF in the UK so if a citizen views KF and is caught he has to face the courts or something? The only things that come to mind that ties to the UK are threads about British people like the Schoolboy creep guy, that one tik-tok creep and similar. Does he have to take those threads down or something?

@Null

Before this thread descends into 1776 pages of flag waving, can we discuss this a little bit, in all seriousness?

The coppers in the UK are pretty ruthless when it comes to locking up wrong-thinkers, as we saw last year post riots, and I know I'm not the only Brit-poster on the site that is a little concerned about the direction our country is going.

I know, and everyone on this site knows that you hate the Brits, but I want to know, if push comes to shove, will you throw us under the bus or will you give us fair warning to clear off of the site before you do?

And I believe the intelligence agencies of Britain are on this site, regularly, collecting data on users. I can give you a few names if you want?

Do these people actually have the nerve to think they have any authority to police the internet? Have they ever been succesful? Or is this some political group in the UK justifying their own existence/budget?

"See, we sent dem a verwy strongwy worded email! Next years budget we will need a 75% increase"

Josh doesn't have to do anything. He's a American. British laws can suck the Constitution's star studded cock.

What is with the U-Gay, sorry, UK trying to make itself seem like the "model" country for wrongthing? Not the only one with a dog in this race, mind you.

Hold firm in your ground Josh. You got this.
The liberal humanist claim to universal jurisdiction is an absolutely insane level of totalitarianism.

It beggars belief that they even can logically think they are righteous by uttering these sorts of statements.
The fruits of enlightenment ideals taken to the extreme. We saw that in France and perhaps we are seeing it in Britain now. Speaking of Britain, a classic:

That's why I think it's intended more as a domestic control mechanism than anything else. Like, they send a notice they know will be ignored, then they say "well this is an unsafe and dangerous website" and get justifications to block it

Dear Feeder explicitly said he'd start talking about Cricket if he was ever compromised, and previously told Bri'ish courts that he would not comply with their request for information on a suspected user right before proclaiming himself the King of England.
