Speaking of DSP the polwop. I was playing KCD2 and ran into something quite funny.

In your band of misfits there is a character who is Polish and is the only one who speaks only in Polish. Nobody in the group aside from one understands him(you get subtitles for what he is saying). in the latter half of the game you must pose as Italians who are escorting a legate. A character is trying to teach you and a few others including the polish one some Italian so you can keep up the act. The Polish character at one point says "who wants to pretend to be an Italian anyway" as he struggles with speaking it. All I could think of was DSP. Come on Phil embrace being a polock instead of larping as Tony Soprano.

A consistent thing I've heard from people who talk to Phil for any length of time is that he is willing to spend a lot of time doing something but he is very very bad at everything he does.

I mean, stubbornness is a talent of it's own. I don't think there are many games Phil has actually given up on, he's gotten through a lot of hard stuff just because he wont give up.

Phil often had the reputation of powering through shit; but the past year plus or so, wage quits have become more and more of a regular thing. Not that I'd suggest go and binge one the past few years of content; but you can see his motivation falter, especially when it comes down to how much money is coming in per stream. Dude drops stuff far more often than he did in the past.

I doubt that. I think Linda is the main reason why Phil is the way he is. How does a 40 year old man publicly say a story like the Salvagno Thumb? Never learn how to do laundry? Need his parents to fly across the country to clean his house? Along with many of his other weird ways that we've pieced together likely came from her.

Just to point out, the reason Phil actually does this as opposed to having it done automatically is almost certainly to allow himself some level of control over it (i.e. allows him to do things like round down the amount given, not post a name that is a detractor meme, etc.)

Hes actually been soft or hard banned from most of the sites that would make this easy for him, so he has to get tips through pay-pal directly which would need some kind of integration, same reason he plays all of the dumb animations manually.

I never watch anything past the prestreams (because I'm cool) but I get the impression from what alottapeepul are saying that he doesn't even get into games that much anymore to get to the point where people would actually positively contribute based on him playing the game.
From everything I read it looks like he just spends 2 fucking hours prestreamin' then goes into the game for like 45 minutes at most and never gets into most of the games.

It's more clearer than anything that he just doesn't want to play games at all and he doesn't like them at all. Someone else was saying TIHYDPs don't even really get made anymore because he doesn't really play games long enough.
