The way I see it, Marty's death and the grieving period after was the end of that arc and we're basically in a new wave. Rather than let someone take up the mantle of his next big troll, I think William and NWB are trying to put the little shit in his place for good. Either this is our final arc and Chance will be gone for good, or we're close to a massive shift. I'm more willing to believe the latter given we have the mass leaks, but the former seems so tempting with the number of bricking and cyber attacks.

He's not gonna end his own life. He only does and says that stuff for sympathy and attention. I do say though, he'll likely get a gnarly infection and reap the consequences of that.
