In my opinion, it’s a little early to start sharing conversations and burning bridges. Their refusal to elaborate on why they refused service is obviously strategic as it gives no avenue to question the decision (legally or otherwise). At the same time it’s somewhat vindicated as null immediately proceeded to share the email to the forum. It’s also not clear whether there is an arms length between the forum and the 501abc (maybe this has been discussed elsewhere?), but this post and the error message which UK users get suggests there isn’t. That can lead to an outsider questioning whether it’s a genuine charity or just a way to funnel money to this website (which has been described as orchestrating harassment or whatever). Bitching out payment processors probably not a great look to other processors.

I am acknowledging what needs to happen. Josh liked @mindlessobserver 's idea. Like it or not the hard road is the one we are on.

And I'm not naive. The chance of victory is going to be low even at the very start. It will take hundreds of thousands to get going. It's fucking worth it though. I chipped in last time. I will again. I want to see the enemies of the farms tremble. That alone makes it worth it for me.

ask @Caroline Farrow how likely she would help us. She would know better than any of us. I speculate JKR would have no interest because she generally cares about putting her resources into groups that actually help women. I've heard stories unrelated to anything that has been said here a couple of times of surprise donations from her from people that worked for smaller operations aimed at helping downtrodden women. Even if it doesn't get you anything, you at least get to annoy them.

Don't just email them, call them on the phone and ask to speak to someone.
If it doesn't work call back the next day and try again.
Calling is more effective than email.
It's much harder to tell someone to fuck off over the phone than it is in email.

Also do this with the ones you say ghosted you.
Force them to tell you to fuck off.

Alternatively/also speak to lawyer guy to find out possible ways around it.

Like someone mentioned before see if someone else can open the account for you.
Whether that's a lawyer or one of your co-board members.
Give someone title of CFO or whatever and have them do it.

If all else fails change your name to something jewish and then try again.
