Because Tumblr likes to appeal to the lowest common denominator. They will take down blogs if they get enough complaints, and i know they will take down the obvious pro-MAP shit, but zoos and necros get away with more because they tend to self-censor themselves.
Before the porn ban you'd actually see zoosadist content on there sometimes. Rare but it did pop up, normally tagged in such a way that you'd find it by mistake too.

I've stumbled upon another community through some cross-tagging full of, mostly female, accounts dedicated to fucking dogs. Most of it is "fantasy content" (they always seem to use that excuse liberally), but I feel like public fantasy of fucking dogs is nowhere near better than actually doing it.
Plenty of these accounts can be found straight away by looking up "K9 Kink", "K9 Cock", or "K9 NSFT". Morbid stuff.

Here's a handful of accounts I've gathered that alarm me for one reason or another. Working on a thing that lists accounts I have heavy suspicion of, as there's hundreds of accounts I have snapshots of.

David Allen James is a registered Tier 1 sex offender in the state of Maryland. This follows a Possession of Child Pornography charge filed on 12/31/2019, and pled guilty on May 13, 2022.

He was released from prison on March 29, 2024 and registered with the Maryland Sex Offender Registry.

There was an earlier charge, on November 18, 2005, David was indicted on possession of a Visual Representation of a Child Under 16 (CR.11.20. He pled guilty to the charge and was given probation with a suspended sentence on February 02, 2006.

Their defense of the enjoyment is usually just "it's just nature, no big deal." They don't seem to realize that when most people see an animal being attacked by a predator and eaten, they don't get joy from seeing it or seek it out on a regular basis for kicks. Not to mention a wild animal eating for survival out in the world is pretty different from an animal raised by humans, living in a cage, being hand fed live prey (especially like a hamster, that's not really a typical diet for any frog.)

I also hear from owners of these animals that it's "for enrichment" but if you're unable to keep your pet enriched without forcing it into a dangerous/possibly fatal situation they can't escape from because they're caged and rodents have claws and teeth and will fight back, you might be a bad owner. It all stinks of zoosadism to me and reminds me a lot of the monkeyfuckers and the other jackasses exposed here.

Weirdly, this seems to be the more tame extension of an old real life vore community i saw outted on tumblr over a decade ago. I can't find a shred of documentation now, but it was a group feeding kittens and puppies (as well as small dogs) to large snakes.
Main things i remember was a comment on a video of a snake eating a black kitten along the lines of "just as nature intended, his cries are muted by the coils" and two pictures: a small dog in a playpen outdoors somewhere, and the same playpen, sans dog, with a huge snake with a dog-sized lump in it.
This also might be the same people, just only sharing what youtube will allow.

Actually not true; plenty of the accounts feature nudes and photos of themselves. Also the most prominent accounts are FTMs. If you remember anything from the Nacho Doggo thing, women are just... really into dogs.

Women tend to be unabashed coomers; you might just not be looking hard enough. The K9 community is decently hidden on tumblr so I wouldn't even call it "in your face".
