Nope, I didn’t major in film. I was enrolled at Columbia film school in Chicago, but I left because I simply wanted to make my own movies. I did a couple years of basic classes at Lincoln Land Community College while simultaneously making my earlier movies. I didn’t much care for schooling then, I just wanted to make movies and party

Yeah, I nixed film school in favor of making my own exploitation films and filming and showcasing them independently; but I also drank like a fish and did a lot of drugs in my early 20s. So much so that that period of my life is a little hazy. So I’m not sure if I can recommend that part of my journey
