The entire point of SNAP is that it is supposed to be supplementary to your income. People on SNAP shouldn't be able to buy frozen tendies or any other cheap garbage food in the first place. Allowing people to get overpriced fastfood from a drive through is the opposite way the program should be going.
So you wish to take away WIC a program that actually serves the people most in need and make it to where SNAP pays for your KFC trips? How would this not make SNAP into a subsidy for corporate fast food chains? If anything SNAP should become more like WIC and gain more restrictions on what can actually be purchased.
My guess is that Israel does have some blackmail shit a la Epstein. Who that is or isn't is anyone's guess. But I'm fine with working with the Israelis to get what I want.
