Capeshit

I don't know no Wolverine shit, but I know at least Huge Jackman has said he is not playing Wolverine anymore, so another appearance of Jackman's Wolverine will get both buzz and box office.

To an extent, I can see Bobby's point here. There really is a portion of the moviegoing public that see some kind of shiny thing in a trailer and go "ooh, neat, I wanna see that." Dangling the X-Men in front of these types, especially in a scenario you wouldn't immediately expect ("why are the good guys fighting each other?"), will intrigue them, possibly to the point of watching the latest capeshit in question.
That said, I question how widespread this phenomenon truly is when it comes to the MCU. Bringing back the Fox X-Men actors yet again for one more go at it is just begging to run into the law of diminishing returns. This'll be like, what, how many times they've wheeled out (heh) Patrick Stewart as Professor X after he got vaporized in X3? By my count, it's the fourth time (the future scenes in Days of Future Past, Logan, Doctor Strange 2, and now this). Granted, two of those were still under Fox, but you see my point.
As I've said before, this really just reeks of desperation from Feige and company. The MCU has gone from guaranteed megablockbusters to faltering and stumbling more often than not. Pulling at nostalgia does work, but after the pre-MCU movies got a nice send-off with D&W last year, will it really have the same effect? I dunno, but I hope not, if only to see Bobby suffer.

You think the empathy quote is incomprehensible? Try this: "Trump and covid are one and the same".
This shit doesn't make sense on any level. He's trying to claim that both Drumpf and the coof are the cause of bad things happening, but then he argues that the coof was the end result of electing Drumpf (even though, y'know, Trump didn't cause the NIH to fund gain-of-function research in China or have it get released, and also Shillary wouldn't have done any better in the event it still played out the same way, and probably worse). And if the coof is a cause of something worse...well, consider how Biden was immediately elected afterwards, and then question whether you want this to be your logical conclusion to the "infection and disaster" that the coof caused.
Bob really is the definition of midwit. He thinks he's this grand genius enlightening the masses, but all he spouts is utter nonsense.

Another of those stories to keep liberals feeling smugger and better.
Trump made no secret of how he wanted to downsize the federal government. If you're a feddie and you didn't take the
exceptionally generous buyout offer and start looking for work immediately under the assumption you'd be out of a job soon enough, you're a fucking idiot. I feel no sympathy for feds, even Trump supporting ones.
(That is, of course, assuming this report isn't a lie made to smear Drumpf, since feds are overwhelmingly solid blue voters.)

Or, and here's a thought: they could just make the cars here and avoid the tariffs! Wow!
(Please ignore how basically every other country on Earth levies huge tariffs against the US and makes it virtually impossible for our goods to compete, yet somehow their countries aren't collapsing. Really makes you think.)

Artists are worth as much as they can charge. All AI has done is made it so that you need to develop your skills further to make a living with their art. It doesn't stop anyone from doing it for fun until they reach the point they can sell what they produce.
In the end, that's what all the bellyaching about AI amounts to: lazy hack "artists" mad that they can't charge out the ass for basic drawn porn.

These mirthless fucks can't enjoy a simple meme, nor do they want others to enjoy it either. If it really upsets you so much, wait about two weeks for the novelty to wear off, and you'll stop seeing it be so widespread.
