Sorry I'm an idiot. I misspoke. It's not dlc. It's a microtransaction in the dlc section of steam. It's literally two weapons (that are probably just skins or very quickly obsolete) and some in game premium currency.

It's been a few months since I've watched a jim sterling video, he's definitely changing his voice now.
Both also use self-deprecation. Nakey Jakey jokes about being a college dropout. Jim Jokes about being a depressed omnisexual. Jakey is that weird uncle at the family reunion. Jim is that weird uncle not allowed at the family reunion.
I think the key takeaway here is that self-deprecation only works when it's not obviously being used to try and get ahead of the people mocking you for real.

Pogfucker was Jim's best character "bit", unironically. A hyperbolic satirical embodiment of addiction and mindless consumerism. Says everything it needs to say without having to explain itself, by feverishly fucking pogs and mournfully moaning for ever more pogs. His appearances, like those of the Cornflake Homunculus, were also mercifully brief, if (iirc) somewhat less topical. Compare that to the hardcore duke or whatever the fuck he calls that get-up: a thinly veiled excuse to put on a wig and some makeup, served with a side of pompous ranting that completely misses the point of the topic at hand(usually either "the FUN debate", or "the casual-hardcore inter-demographic slapfight").
Railing against them is an understatement, I actually stopped watching originally because his channel become the "my insider sources" show, where every week a source who can't be named but I assume sent Jim a bathroom selfie of an employee ID makes another defamatory statement about specific named individuals at Ubisoft being involved in sexual misconduct.
I always preferred Cornflakes Homunculus because it was so bizarre (and as you pointed out, brief).
