No, they won in 2020 because the economy was fucked and everyone was stuck inside, they felt Trump was responsible voted for change (and possibly voter fraud helped)

Then the economy got fucked up even worse and people decided Trump was better (and all those anti voter fraud measures helped too)

If Trump can make life noticably better for the average American he can almost certainly secure 2028 for whoever the Republican candidate will be. If the tariffs backfire and make the economy worse then the Dems can easily retake the White House.
