I just hope Trump starts a war and sends all the native born citizens to fight and die in a pointless land grab for Israel. Make Israel Greater Again.
Da Joos! Da Joos! Stock market is up today so it's time to derail the thread by posting about DA JOOS! Don't you ever get bored with your retarded takes? I sure do.

Speaking with a coworker today, he told me there is something funky about the physical cartridges now where some games won't release physical except to be a "game-key card" to download the game from the Nintendo store. They don't contain any game data and knowing Nintendo, that probably means you can't share it or resell it as that key will already be tied to your Nintendo account.

So perhaps Nintendo just wants to get out of the physical cartridge business altogether now, kill game reselling/sharing entirely.
you'll own nothing and be happy.

Liberals: OMG, Trump allowed top secret information leaked, heads must roll!
The Powers the Be: FBI ordered a cover up regarding Hunter Biden.
Liberals: It's okay when we do it, REE!

It's the world's worst-kept secret that literally every medical entity overbills insurance companies for everything they provide and do, hoping the insurance company will eventually pay some small fraction of that amount, sometimes as little as 10% of what they bill depending on the service and entities involved.

When they hand over that first inflated bill, they don't expect you to pay it. It's their first volley in the bullshit ping-pong game they play with insurance companies. The moment you start waving cash, they perk right up (because your payment clears today, whereas the insurance payment (if it comes at all) will take months).
I'd recommending reading your EOMB (Explanation of Medical Benefits) statements as they come in the mail or your electronic inbox . These outline in detail:
  • How much was billed for the procedure - usually well above what insurance companies pay - with this amount intended to cover overhead and uncompensated care in addition to the actual procedure.
  • What the insurance company says the maximum billed amount should be, usually much less than above.
  • How much the insurance company pays, and how much the medicial practice has to write off as part of the insurance contact, and
  • How much, if anything, is owed by you, the patient.
It's very eye-opening and shows how medical fees truly are a complicated version of "let's make a deal" in terms of who pays what and how much insurance companies dismiss as "Nope, you don't get that amount from us and you can't bill the patient for it either." It really is a drawn out dog and pony show.

Black box warnings for cancer and death and shit, all for the possibility that my eczema might be better for a little while.
My joke is how the side effects for modern drugs are such and often severe enough that having the diseases sounds more appealing than the treatment for it.

Magnificent start, more need to be cut.
These are the people who spread the soyence of covid.
Even someone I know who can't stand Trump admitted that cutting government employees that are merely a warm body collecting a paycheck for doing nothing deserve to be let go. The only people I've seen opposing these actions are the ones who directly benefit from the waste, mismanaged funds, or corruption that's being rooted out.

Well, Corey Booker has set a new record for longest senate speech, beating out Strom Thurmonds filibuster of the Civil rights act.

Bit of a shame that it's all for a "Reeeeeeeeee, orange man bad!" Protest. Kinda anti climactic.
Why do I have the feeling Thurmond's filibuster had more thought and sincerity in it than Booker's did? The TL; DR I'm getting from Booker's "speech" is that he spent just over a day doing nothing but saying "Trump bad" in as many different ways he could think of before fatigue and the urge to crap his drawers set in.

Really makes you thunk, huh? All they NEED is Crawford to gerrymander. They can let everything else go to toss up. But somehow people vote for voter ID but not the Republican candidates? Hmmmmmmmm.......HMMMMM...
I could be wrong but maybe Dems voted for the Voter ID proposal to get it challenged in court with the hope the left-leaning state supreme court would find any sort of reason to declare it unconstitutional. Normally, I'd dismiss such a possibility as a whack-job theory, but there are enough Dems malevolent enough to do this very thing.

All of my local city council/school board candidates run on platitudes and none of them mention any concrete policies. The only way to figure out who is good or not is to look at endorsements and assume that conservative groups endorse conservatives and leftist groups endorse leftists.
In my part of Kiwi Land, most school board candidates run unopposed and the bulk of them make it clear they believe in liberal talking points such as DEI and restorative justice.

As it is now, one of the schools I pass on my regular commute flies a pride flag every June and includes a digital version with the rotating messages displayed on its LED marquee board for the other 11 months of the year. Even with President Trump's orders regarding DEI and the like, I don't see this stuff changing and I suspect the school boards will simply rebrand DEI initiatives to sound more subtle and keep their overpriced DEI directors, simply giving these things a sanitized title in order to maintain the status quo.

Trump with a chart showing the tariffs other nations charge the US and the tariffs he's enacting on them in response:

But I don't understand, Tariffs are just taxing your own people and they'll destroy your economy, those rates should have already nuked everyone else in the world. Or maybe armchair internet "economists" repeating things they've heard from subhuman retards known as Redditors and Journalists don't actually understand economics. Should have stayed at a Holiday Inn, if you can find one not owned by filthy Jeets.

I'm not yet tired of winning.

What I love the most here is that the MSM spent the past several weeks talking about how evil tariffs are, so now they have to explain why these other countries place such heavy tariffs on us.
they'll either continue to lie or just ignore what trump said and pretend he never said it.

Trump and his charts, the best romance confirmed.
"Stop putting tariffs on it and we'll stop putting tariffs on you, and we'll give you bennies if you make it in America. Or you can go deal with China, enjoy having all your shit stolen by the dinks."
100% tariff on India Blumpf, do it, do it.
This might re-shore a lot of pharmaceutical manufacturing because so many of our drugs come from Indian facilities.

Join date proves yet again to be the early life section of kiwifarms
"You're telling me that, even when I'm phone browsing, I can just tap on the user's name above their post to confirm that all of the worst bad-faith takes in USPG come from late-'24-to-'25 reg dates?"
"I'm telling you that, when the time comes, you won't have to."

retarded non-economists who don't understand tariffs and just focus on their nintendork games think that the very successful, very powerful, bigly working trump tariffs are causing higher prices for their video games.

in case you don't know, the vast majority of US tariffs and taxes on japan are on automaking and aluminum.
