General Wrestling Discussion

The "X-Factor" theme song was so bad that I (100% ironically, but it still happened) liked it. He got everything he ever wanted and he'll never give that back. XD
My dislike of X-Factor largely has to do with Justin Credible being a part of the stable. Guy was like the Wish.com version of X-Pac.

Also, if nothing else, OSW Review's continued dislike of Waltman (affectionately called Little Bitch) makes me laugh.

Yeah I didn't like his gimmick and tbh, his indies moniker (Lightning Kid) was far better. But some of the shit he was doing in the ring (and the fact that he wasn't a roided to the gills guy) was fairly groundbreaking at the time.

But Vince is gonna Vince.

Syxx was okay because I thought he was the 6th member of the nWo at the time (Hall, Nash, Hogan, DiBiase, Giant, Waltman.)

His gimmicks always sucked (the worst was the 'Crybaby Kid', imo, followed by X-Factor) but apparently he was one of the guys they'd throw new guys into the ring with to evaluate them.
I thought he was ok. I got some nostalgia for him but his TNA run for me was kinda forgettable. I have peers that told me they lost respect for him after the Chyna Sex video. They even made a joke that he is lucky to have survived his suicide attempt in 2007 otherwise the media would exploit his death during the Benoit tragedy and use his death as another excuse to blame steroids and drugs and Juventud Guerrera would be interviewed since he was the one who found X-Pac that time of his attempt. Can you imagine The Juice on CNN in 2007? How would he even handle himself as they ask him about Waltman's death or if they bring up Benoit or drugs?

Apparently AEW is getting 1 million viewers with max

With that those numbers I think we can all agree....

It appears the guy making the claim is not only best buddies with Tony, he’s best buddies with Rovert the gremlin that he is. Apparently he ran some smark website 25 years ago also.

I stopped liking Pac when I saw him pop up in some Not-TNA but TNA inspired Indy. He was of course doing all the typical DX shit and I just remember thinking "you're the last person anyone thinks of for DX. Why are you STILL doing it?". Not to mention his style has been exactly the same since his first showed up. The consistency is impressive, extremely, but Waltman hasnt had an exciting match since he beat Razor.

Then I told my dad I just saw X-Pac, and that he was still doing the DX shit. He said, and I quote, "what a fuckin loser. Even the Outlaws didn't cling on that hard and they sucked dick". :story:

Yup, I was looking more into Blowjob Bertha's account and apparent they also ran some e-feds and DND too. Either way just someone helping likely from Tiny's influence since he for some reason has been very quiet about this.
Also as someone who has been enjoying the wrestlemania price discourse its nice to know that $700 is the be all end all for most people. Honestly its got me feeling like Macho Man at Wrestlemaia 9 knowing I can easily afford a ticket without going into financial ruin like some of the IWC.

I know it's "not the same" but I will never understand people that would grab a plane to go to Wrestlemania to do fuck huge lines and sit in the nosebleeds where you can barely see shit when it's cheaper than ever to stay home and watch on Peacock and Netflix. No lines at the bathrooms for the filler matches either. :story:

X-Pac leading a stable was their first mistake. People around that time generally hated him and not in a heel way but in a "this wrestler sucks" kind of way

X-Pac had his drug issues. Justin Credible had his drug issues and is now scamming people. Albert works as a trainer for WWE. If you had told me that Albert would've been the most normal and successful of the three back then, I'd have called you nuts

100% agree. Unless there's other things in the area I want to check out spending the money to travel just for one event is wild. The fact that there are people though who will go into debt to go though is nuts. Like maybe if I was on my deathbed.

Speaking of which I keep forgetting he was moved to Raw in 2004. Then was let go later that year. I feel they should have done more with A-Train. They should have given him a monster push that time. Maybe not like Goldberg but have fans interested in him again.

I was an unironic fan of Test and Albert but looking back it was just "lets throw these 2 guys we got nothing for into a tag team and give them a valet who we have nothing for" which rarely works

Saw the DSOTR episode Ludvig Borga. Whoa. My thoughts are the words JR said about him after he died
Jim Ross: I still feel badly about the last years of Tony's life as things really unraveled for him seemingly due to alcohol and drug issues. When one competes with ‘demons’ unfortunately the ‘demons’ usually win unless one is personally and thoroughly committed to changing one's behavior. Wrestlers with problems of this nature either need to have the problem solved, which takes everyone's best efforts and specifically the individual himself, or have the problem person needs to be eliminated from the equation. That might sound harsh but some folks would rather ‘catch a buzz’ than do the right thing for themselves, their family and the company for which they work.

Also they should have invited the Quebeccers over, they had a few confrontations. Which the Steiners instigated.

Who could have guessed the guy named after a dick piercing really had his shit together.

anyways, here are my predictions for the Mania card thats been announced so far

Cody beats Cena (I could be VERY wrong on this one to be fair)
Tiffy beats Charles
Jey beats Gunther
Ripley beats Iyo and Belair (lets face it their probably making it a Triple Threat, they just have been really delayed with it)
Logang beats AJ
Punk beats Roman and Seth
Orton beats KO

Anyone remembers this video?

The guy made another one, this time about Cody and his story.
Just a heads up, its a spliced version so its the original Roman vid with Cody segments tacked on.

EDIT: Yea at most 30 mins of extra Cody stuff

I truly hope HHH has the good sense to have a restraining order against Miro/Rusev and creative because god knows I'm not looking forward to yet another cuck angle.
They need to get Aiden English back and the Rusev Day can start again!
