He never had any intention of prosecuting Hillary. He used that "lock her up" chant to solidify his base because conservatives hated Hillary. In fact, when it looked like he was going to lose to her, he was already priming the pump by saying that if he lost, that would mean the election was stolen. Yes, he intended to play that card in 2016. He was also saying it was the popular vote that counted, but when Hillary won the popular vote he changed his tune to "anyone can win the popular vote."

Trump is such a retard that he thinks that because the US has a trade deficit, that tariffs are the only answer. He thinks that trade deficit means we are sending them money for nothing in return.
