It still amazes me how much success Silly Bitchell has achieved in the past 4 decades just from parlaying his video game notoriety into an actual career. It may be Z-list teir, but more than the average videogame slob could ever hope to achieve. He's like the Trump of videogames, he always seems to shrug off every scandal and obstacle, and make it into a positive benefit.

By far the worst thing about Billy is the fact that he looks like Peter Dinklidge if he was full-size, but somehow still retaining the dwarf proportions.

But what didn't actually happen, in the real world, was Billy Mitchell decreasing the framerate on an emulator and submitting that for competition. Perhaps he does it in the privacy of his own home. I turn off display layers on my SNES emulator all the time to help me get through tough levels. But if I were a competitive gamer or speedrunner (I'm not, but hypothetically), I'd know that's just for practice runs.

It's absolutely 100% fact that at least one Silly Bitchell recording was a MAME emulation playthrough. Just the analysis of the loading screens on DK proves that. Sprite loading on hardware is 100% the same every time, except in instances of corruption ortampering. But the MAME loading that others have demonstrated is 100% identical to the video that Bitchell showed. IIRC one sperg even was able to identify which emulation software he used by how the game loaded up.

Going to point out that this wasn't self help bullshit. That's what Jobst claimed it was as his excuse when it first got dredged up from the past because no full copy of it was ever preserved.

But if you look at the cover of the book it's strippers and whores. It was PUA bullshit through and through. This Billy Mitchell shit is the third time I've noticed his pattern of blatantly lying about the past and hoping people don't look into it at all.

First was the Goose situation where he (Goose) was making spicy jokes. Karl disowned him and said he didn't know what was going on in the discord. But there are several surviving screenshots of Karl laughing at the jokes.

Second was the PUA handbook that people laughed at but he was somehow able to spin as just being "respectful confidence boosting help" despite it clearly not being that.

Third and most serious is obviously this, where he blamed an innocent guy as being responsible for the suicide of some sad sack kid when he knew it was his actual friend (that later betrayed him) who was the 'final push' (actual quote from Apollo) to do it, and then scammed his fans into paying for the lawsuit by misleading them what it was about.

I’m sure an amicable solution can be reached to wipe out the debt and make everyone happy.

Billy should buy out Karl’s YouTube channel, lock him in an iconic circus animal-style cage, and force him to stream Donkey Kong for the rest of his natural life. He will be contractually obliged to no longer say legend and instead start every video with “Hello you absolute Kings of Kong.” The only sponsors will be Billy’s hot sauce. Karl must wear a matching little Billy outfit with an American flag tie. His child, who unfortunately carries his lawsuit losing genes, will be locked in a miniature cage alongside him, forced to play Donkey Kong Jr.

If he’s a good little Billy Boy and manages to keep breaking records, his wife will be allowed to reach through the bars and pat him on the head once a decade.

I went looking for the Australian court records twice in 2024, first time early in spring when the trial was scheduled to take place and then again a few days before it happened.
But I found no way for me, a third party, to access those records. Maybe I would have needed to show up at a court house to be allowed to view them.

For me as a moderately interested third party finding the correct website, court case and docket, then figuring out I cannot download anything, was the maximum effort I was willing to invest. I could beat myself up the head now for not investing more time and effort to find out more, but I my opinion was pretty solidly set already in favor of Karl due to the massive support for him by every Youtuber who covered the feud and legions of commentators on various discussion boards.

I might have been aware at some point that the death of Apollo Legend might play a role in a case, but Karl had, at some point in time, a total of 3 defamation lawsuits pending against himself by Billy, so I falsely assumed that this case would be all those accusations rolled up into one case, which were if I remember correctly:
1) Billy extorting another Arcade players to publicly support Billy against his own interests
2) Billy cheating at Donkey Kong in collaboration with TG referees by using emulation software and conspiring to cover it up years later
3) Billy's lawsuit intentionally destroying Apollo Legend's life

As it turns out, that was not true. Billy dropped all that other garbage, because those were only ever intended to shut Karl up and he could have, going by the cheating evidence gathered and presented so far, realistically lost those. Karl forgot to mention that those lawsuits were dropped and only the most defamatory statement he had ever made was the one that remained.


To be fair, I am not sure I would have been intelligent and versed enough in Australian legalese to understand that Karl had no chance to win this lawsuit, but even to me it would have been evident that the cheating accusations were not part of the lawsuit whatsoever.

If the Australian court system had easy public access to court filings of cases I am pretty sure Karl's lies could have been discovered earlier and the harm to Billy's reputation could have been reduced considerably by publishing the raw court documents for the public to disect.

Of course Billy had zero interest in any of that, because he would have known from the start that Karl had no way to defend his false statements and this was a slam dunk case.

Now Karl and Mutahar's investigation into Jerard the completionist's charity must be called into question. Even through Jerard admitted some wrong doing. He could have admitted fault under duress to save face to appease the angry Internet mob. If Karl has lied about all of these other things then it would only be right to question his and Mutahar's investigation.

You should be questioning online investigators on principal, they are wannabe jurnos and jurnos are scum.
Aside from that, Jeraed was actually doing shady stuff, they had proof and Jaraed did admit it. Even if he admitted to appease the online mob, that is his own retarded decision instead of fighting back. This doesn't retroactively redeem Jeraed, it just stops them from going after him further due to them being massive hypocrites.
