He wasn't sure if people carry millions in cash on hand. I assume Russell does have 'investors' after all, since it's a weird thing to claim to be destitute but lie about knowing people willing to fork over $1.2 million for a second hand brothel in the middle of nowhere that was actually nowhere close to $1.2 million.

There's nerve, there's cojones, and then there's spiteful refusal to acknowledge object permanence. It's almost Trumplike.

"No reasonable attorney would be filing as many notices - the most unnecessary notices - as Mr. Hardin has, with negligence, bad faith - very bad faith, the worst faith the world has ever seen - no one else, has tried to hurry this suit along...more than I have..."

He even put in that he would LOVE to buy the nicer brothel and it's a dream of his.
In a lawsuit about copyright infringement.
Considering his confidence, I was surprised he didn't ask the judge to make a recommendation for him.

Russel doesn't put much actual thought into anything he does and seems to lack the capacity to consider possible longterm consequences of anything he's doing.
The crying about Mr Hardin notifying the court that the cheque he sent to Russ' "witness" was never cashed is a prime example. Mr Hardin is effectively saying you owe him slightly less money, you fucking retard.

Some of the posts on this thread just make me cringe, if I was a pro se retard they would be very helpful, no?
A pro se retard capable of learning from mistakes and observing inflexible rules? Sure. Shitlips? Absolutely not. All of the shit that's been recently discussed, he should already be aware of if he was paying attention. Mr Hardin himself told him about the 21 day requirement and he went ahead and filed with the court anyway.

Shitlips,
Mr Hardin's notices are not causing any delay. They're merely adding to the conversation that will absolutely be happening in May, regardless of how upset you are by Mr Hardin doing his fucking job.

Good save on the brothel purchase! A pauper could absolutely afford to drop a 6 figure amount at a moment's notice.

I'm pleased the Magistrate cockslapped him immediately. It demonstrates he's paying close attention to the docket and makes me feel better about these long silences when it comes to Mr Hardin's filings.

It was actually just a lie, Russ thinks if he can get his foot in the door he can park it there indefinitely until some undetermined future event where they either somehow let him have it for free for no reason or he gets an inexplicable windfall.

he gets an inexplicable windfall.
This lawsuit is the windfall. This is the big one. If Hardin would just be a good neutral third party and settle this lawsuit, Russel can clear his heckin good name AND finally have enough money to get into the brothel business for good! And the whores will be great! Ol Uncle Russ will interview them personally. Then after a few years he and his army of Eskimo brothers from Russel's Raunchy Ranch will finally take down Taylor Swift, and evil Kiwi Farms for good!

Can't you tell from these filings he is in the fight of his life?

The thread gets locked and posts get deleted when they stray too close into being advice Russ can actually use.

All of the remaining posts in this thread have been certified as too retarded to be useful.

What you see here, all of the surviving posters, have been certified as too retarded to be useful.
We can only dream of matching the legal acumen that compels a man to admit he was seeking to purchase land for 100k in order to defend his poorfag status

I think the order is don't give Russ advice that Hardin hasn't already given. It's one thing to say, "You should've followed the sanctions rules, Russell!" It's another thing to learn Russell's star witness is dead, post it here, and give Russ a chance to file a badly written motion; that sort of thing should not be revealed until Hardin and Russell are in front of the judge.

I wouldn't say they are "retarded" per se, as I would have just deleted them too, but they are, at the very least, not useful for Russ, but have some use for the thread. I can proudly say that since the last time the thread was closed by Null, you lot have not caused any issues that I can recall.

The best advice in this thread that Greer constantly refuses to take are "give up" or "do a flip".

When Null finally wins and the case is dismissed I am betting that Greer will file a final motion to undo the thing that just happened where he'll just flat out tell the court he'll kill himself if they don't let the case go on forever.

So, why is there a rule that the moving party first serve the motion for sanctions to opposing counsel 21 days before filing with the court? Is that to encourage opposing parties to work things out between themselves so the court doesn't have to rule on who's the bigger dipshit?
Lawfare is the exact opposite of TV shows and Phoenix Wright. Some 90% of "sanctionable motions" or whatever are likely honest mistakes, and a quick note to counsel gets it fixed and the court never has to deal with it. The court HATES sanctions and having to deal with them, almost as much as lawyers hate getting sanctioned. It removes the pleasant fiction that everyone's good adults and the disagreement is just minor.
We didn't even know he was dead, how could we?
No, Defendant, it is YOU who is dead! Enjoy afterlife, atalker.

He's already come as close to this as you can without actually filing the motion to end the Plaintiff. He's filed saying something like "plaintiff doesn't think he's suicidal, currently, but you know ..."

Is Russell correct that Hardin confused what brothel we're talking about?

Is this related to people saying the winning bid on the brothel Russell wanted was $100,000 over the asking price of a million, so Russ mistakenly though the whole winning bid was 100,000?

Russ has so many brothels he's "tried to purchase" that we may be learning about them from a copyright infringement case that has nothing to do with whores.

I think he tried to buy the LRS where he made the complaint that he had $10k ready to borrow $100k when the last bid increment had been $100k.

But that was separate from the heartbreak he experienced when he realized the buyer was going to destroy it.

Which is separate from trying to force an owner to sell to him because he'd have a monopoly.

My understanding is the Cherry and Love Ranch are right next to each other so both brothels and the land were sold as a single lot. Greer says he was just attempting to buy the Cherry, basically like a half acre with a shitshack on it. So Hardin was wrong about the price because Greer only wanted a piece of what was sold, not the entire thing, but he would have loved to buy both of course if only his mysterious unnamed investors could cough up the money for him.

I really wanna hear Greer explain this investor scheme, what the fuck does he bring to the table that any sane person would fork over a $100K for? He's never run any kind of business, let alone a brothel. If it's as easy as Greer thinks it is then why the fuck would an investor need Greer? I still think his plan was to somehow get them to agree to a low ball offer then beg his parents to mortgage their house for the $100K.

For reference, this is the property in question where both brothels were located.

For anyone concerned about the local community, don't worry cause basically no one fuckin lives in Crystal, NV
