noooooo you can't hire americans noooooo
Just think. If they had managed to stall this action a decade or so, 90% of the people who developed and ran those industries would be too old to even consult on how to successfully restart them. The institutional knowledge loss would have required these shuttered manufacturing sectors to be entirely re-engineered from the ground up.

There’s a shortage of White collar technicial workers in manufacturing.
Know a dude who retired early working on that problem. He gets orgs/founders/owners reaching out at least every other week trying to get him back in.

There is a MASSIVE need, particularity in specialized, domestic light/medium manufacturing, for people who can accurately observe, analyze and execute.

Countries that rely on both exports and imports of their own resources to other nations instead of using their own resources to fix their own national problems don't deserve to exist, simple as.

If these corrupt and retarded leaders of other nations pulled their heads out of their asses and started utilizing every one of their nation's national local resources instead of asking "gibs me dats" and exploiting loopholes, this wouldn't have happened in the first place.
But then how are the elites supposed to undercut their local workforce? And how does the c-suite keep funneling more money their way?

Gee, Mark Cuban couldn't POSSIBLY be fearmongering after taking a massive L by backing Harris in the election campaign, he'd NEVER do that!
It's an insane take too because in theory the people that are poor enough to actually be fucked by a price hike on toothpaste and soap ALSO can't pony up several hundred dollars in one go for personal care items, half of which are just going to go in a dumpster next time they move house.

If you don't understand transaction costs, you don't understand investing or opportunity costs. Please tell us which points I'm wrong on, and how you would solve those issues.
Transaction costs exist, but you are clearly incredibly bad at minimizing them. If you cant get a fair price in previous metals at a dealer you're doing some nigger shit like trying to sell to a pawn shop. I can sell silver for spot and gold at 90% all day long every day of the week.

Same thing with selling ammo, some of the biggest profits I've ever made have been on reselling ammo.

You're such a dumb nigger you don't even know.

Trump was talking about new online college. They need to college affordable for Americans specifically for engineering.

I don't care about what happens to the economy because there's largely nothing I can do about it. I will just continue to do my best to survive.
That's about the gist of it. Don't worry about the macro picture. Which you have no control over. Worry over the micro picture in your own life. What you can control.

tbh I've considered that too about physical gold, it's good as a inflation hedge but kinda shit if society really falls
okay one of those costco little dudes is what, $3k?
go buy a big mac and pay with a three thousand dollar bill, they got change for that right?
now how much better will that go after zombies eat all the jewelers?

I don't have good answers but that has come up as I think about it
That's why silver exists.

Reminds me of the Settlers of Catan "Nobody wants your fucking sheep" meme. Especially funny that the EU won't buy our beef when our beef never had issues with Mad Cow Disease (Since we weren't feeding our cattle to our cattle by way of animal by-product feeds with cow bone and meat included) so it clearly isn't about some kind of food safety concern.

I can sell silver for spot and gold at 90% all day long every day of the week.
And is that over the 8 percent transaction cost I said was common for real estate in my area? My gosh, turns out 10 is more than 8.

Now how about the US-traded common mutual funds that I was using as a low-cost sales example. Does it cost less than 10 percent to sell some Fidelity fund? Please tell me, cause I'm a dumb nigger.

This entire tariff stuff was built on "vibes", every person (including Trump) saying that "X country has Y amount" is doing it based on vibes.
Unfortunately for you, global economic policy is not built on vibes.

it's right here, you absolute nigger. i'm sorry your parents abandoned you before you learned how to read, but if you were capable of actually researching a topic at a 5th grade level you'd have seen that this has already been discussed in thread, and you made yourself look like a dumb faggot by posting this.

As someone who works in a tech adjacent industry... FUCK YES.

American companies should be hiring Americans and not these shit fuck Indian consulting companies who pay their workers pennies.

2022 is the ONLY YEAR since 2010 that happens, THE ONLY YEAR.
and its 1 MILLION DOLLAR.
You understand that there are multiple explanations beside "a loophole".
You understand that the place has people going to study the fucking place?
If this was a loophole it would be use for a LOT MORE and a lot more people and VERY OFTEN.
But you don't understand, because you are the dumbest person in this thread.
Enjoy your penguin money
