Cody has been the only one Cena hasn’t completely and utterly destroyed on the mic. Perhaps not on Cena’s level on the mic but much better than any other younger star has ever stood.

yeah actually close to it is more like it, both were Travel Buddies during Codys first run if im remembering correctly so they have a shit ton of material they can and have used on each other, im thinking its pretty likely Cody retains, being a 17 time world champion is good and all but it seems WWE wants to sell the threat of Cena retiring with the belt for this Mania rather then actually have him win it, and honestly there still plenty of things you can do with Cody as champ over the next year before fans start to tire of it

Roman glazers are usually teenagers who either weren’t born when he was the Big Dog or were fans of his as the Big Dog.
They’re those “it’s real to me dammit” types but in a different way.

The Rock will pop back up as the evil mastermind building up Cena's eventual redemption, after which he'll drop his title to someone else on his final match or something

its possible, I think Cody retaining and holding on to it for at least another year is more likely given TKOs investment into him as the first Post-Vince Face of the Company, personally if I were booking id also have Cena lose and go full rampage mode at first, feuding with guys like Punk trying to hijack the show and "ruin" wrestling because his plan to win number 17 failed, then around Summerslam have him about to beat down a bloodied opponent before The Rock comes out and hands him a chair before Cena realizes what hes turnt into and hits the Rock becoming face again, you can then have Cena feud with The Rock's next appointed Corporate Champ (Logan maybe ?) before retiring against Orton

If he shows up at Mania that’s probably what he’s gonna do but I think they will keep Cena heel for awhile longer Punk hinted he was coming after Cena after Mania so it’s possible they get in a feud similar to Punk and McIntyre last year also I don’t think they’ll turn Cody Heel, Rock will probably try to screw Cody but fail
