You are correct. But guilt by association is such an ingrained thing on their side of the isle. And I am so fucking done giving them any sort of concession that they would not give me if I were in a similar situation. Jack Black did not disavow his friend for literally calling for murder of a presidential candidate. There are many people who have been canceled for *simply being associated with* far less when it was against the other side. You reap what you sow.

That was my experience as well, completely empty except for me, but it was right when school gets out for kids, so that could explain that. Sadly, the movie wasn't a trainwreck. The green screen was very obvious during some segments, like the minecart sequence. Overall, I'd say it's a safe movie you can bring your 7 to 12 year old kid to. Any younger than that and they might have nightmares from the 3d models of the zombies. No globohomo shit, other than the pointless black woman character only being in the movie because she is black, and if you care about racemixing, the villager and vice principal falling in love.

There's a panoramic photo taken inside the same building and it looks like some kind of apartment complex.

There's a floor in the middle that looks more well kept than the other ones, so I assume that's where the outsourced VFX office is. Hard to believe people would just tolerate these conditions but the regular tenets most likely don't have the money for renovations.
