Exactly what "gender" is can be a little inconsistent in tranny world. But the closest thing to a stable definition I can think of for what it means in practice is that it is a version of the human soul that manifests itself as a certain set of aesthetic preferences. So when you do something that allows those aesthetics to exist in actual physical space you are affirming your gender by transforming the physical version of yourself to be more closely aligned with the true metaphysical version of yourself.

They have both the loosest definition of gender and the strictest gender roles. A little girl likes playing with cars? She has to be a boy.

No matter how you feel about trans bathroom access, the reason that we think TiMs should use the men's room is pretty obvious, we think that they have not become women. Even if you do think they have become women, it's a totally coherent rationale.
No one in the world thinks that a woman becomes a man when she gets a facelift or breast implants.

I feel like this is a good argument against their own logic, seeing as the woman in question didn't need a nose job but due to insecurities she got one anyways.
How many people who get plastic surgery are mentally healthy to begin with and truly benefit from the procedures?
I'm not saying all plastic surgeries are bad, but before troons became widely accepted there was a stigma against it for a reason. Plastic surgery should have never been normalized nor promoted in society, For most people Its a waste of money on the basis that physically altering the things you are insecure about will make that insecurity go away.

Troons are nothing without plastic surgery too. And most of the "procedures" they get don't even make a difference on their appearance, it's all delusion.
