Jim Sterling / James "Stephanie" Sterling / James Stanton/Sexton & in memoriam TotalBiscuit (John Bain) - One Gaming Lolcow Thread

Fuck you.
Would have actually been an interesting thing to see how his sub count would evolve, were he to return to what made him popular in the first place.
Would people have been interested in giving him a 2nd chance, or would they have continued harboring spite for the bloated enby.
He's never going to return to being popular. He destroyed that by trooning out.

People tolerated him being a fat weirdo as long as his content was mildly amusing.

But now he's a fat weird troon and his content is just preachy, unfunny shit.

Anyone who actually believed it is either optimistic or retarded. Or they forgot what day it is.
What if I am all of the above? Do I get a bingo? *sigh*
Whenever I see this thread I am reminded of old Jim videos. But then I get flashbanged by the image of him breastfeeding boglings and telling Yathzee that he's pregnant.

It would be interesting to see him try, purely from an academic perspective. I can't think of any YouTubers who completely tanked their channel and reputation and then managed to make a comeback, either by returning to form or pivoting their content entirely.

I can't see Jim ever doing a return to form because he's clearly sick to death of making video content, but I can't think what else he could do to bring in views. Mukbang, maybe?

Another standard month of decline.

Regarding the Twitter followers metric: due to Elon's enormous faggotry regarding API fees Socialblade no longer tracks Twitter, so I'm going to start doing it manually. I'd previously only noted the drop but this month I've put Jim's current follower count so I can use it as a reference for next month's review.

ETA: Following feedback the Twitter count will be scrapped and I'll track his Bluesky instead.

So I guess we're back to losing 1k a month.
The drops tend to fluctuate between 1-3k so it still averages out to 2k a month, meaning we're still on pace for 699k around Q4 2026.

The only thing I can see being a problem is with his views getting even worse there's gonna be less people to actively unsubscribe, but we still don't know if it's active users or dead accounts contributing to most of the losses.

Honestly you could remove the twitter followers and it'd be fine, Jim only posts video announcements on there and has moved over to Bluesky for normal posting.

Yeah I had been considering that but I hate to cut content. Maybe I'll start tracking his Bluesky instead but I have a feeling it'll stagnate pretty fast; the #Resist sisters seem to have run out of steam months ago.

Metroid Dread was solid as fuck, was the only game I've played on the switch though.
I thought it was mid. The forced stealth insta-death sections fucking sucked and killed the pacing. Final boss was absolutely fantastic though.
Calling it now: the next Jimquisition is "Trump, Nintendo, And Tariffs: Why you are owed the right to pirate" And it will be exactly like the last 5 pro-piracy videos.
I think you're right on the topic, but the whole video will be Jim bitching about Trump, just like the Hogwart's Legacy video was nothing but him seething about Queen Terf and never once mentioning the game.
