Tenta was an amazing worker. If you watched his matches in real time, it looked like he was legitimately hurting his opponents with the Earthquake Splash. However, if you watch it carefully, you can see his opponent will start to sit up as he lands, after which he then plants one of his legs to take the weight and his opponent lays down as he does that and he barely touches them. Then he puts his hand down on the mat and adjusts where he is on them so it looks more painful (but his arm and leg are taking all of his weight). He also would have his plant leg be the leg away from the hard cam, so you couldn't even see it unless they were showing it from the side.

Hell a good dude to take such steps to protect jobbers, too, while making it look good. Assholes like Yokozuna didn't do that for jobbers

Go 0.25 playback speed at 2:16 and you'll see what I mean. Incredible how he did that without making it noticeable.

By all accounts he was a super good dude, too, and hated being a heel because he was sad that children would see him at airports and such and run away crying. He wanted to be beloved by fans and according to Bret Hart, when he finally became a face, he broke down in happy tears back stage after.

Typhoon is also, by all accounts, just a super good dude in real life. They were very good friends off screen, too. They'd share hotel rooms and just play cards and tell jokes and stories instead of hitting bars and whatnot

By the way saw this comment on a forum regarding the Dark Side episode on Ludvig Borga, there was a similar one on youtube before the video vanished.
I wish they'd quit lying, they didn't give a shit he was a Nazi asshole, if got over he'd have been there forever.

He just sucked and no one cared about him in the audience.

He gets a lot of appearances (and probably money) from that to this day, so props to him for owning it and making an embarrassing situation into something fun and profitable. I'd love to meet him. I've heard he's over the top nice and friendly.

It's true. I also doubt that no one saw his calf anytime in the locker room or anything like that and he hid it that well. Borga didn't seem like the kind of guy who would go out of his way to hide a nazi tattoo. The Harris Twins were in WWE forever and had nazi tattoos. Ironically they sucked, too, and no fans gave a fuck about them either but they were also less of abrasive assholes to their coworkers than Borga was.

I don't want to start a political shitstorm in this chill thread, but Borga was from a country where it's less taboo to associate with Nazism. Different taboos for different places.

I know. That's why I said "as much as a taboo as in the USA". Legally the situation is in both countries the same. If I take a look on Reddit or read the mainstream press in my country then Trump and Musk are Superhitler 2.0. In Finland you have the Finns party now. That's just the rebranded version of the True Finns party, the exact same party Borga was a member of. The Finns became 2nd strongest party in the last national election in 2023. Members of the Finns party have ties to literally nazi terrorists. Actual nazi terrorists who bomb shit and burn shit down in the name of the white race.

Didn't they have a change, like a decade ago, to go more from actual nazi to more just anti-immigration, etc..?

Nazi tattoos would still be pretty frowned upon in both Finland and the US, outside of the Thunderdome where they think obese manlets with 3 teeth are the master race
