To all the amerilards who cant even name the 50 fucking states let alone other countries heres a quick rundown of whats gonna happen with your industry, jobs and lifestyle. Remember this shit is what always happens everywhere not just where I am, this is what happens when you use tariffs, protectionism and import substitution:
  1. everything will get super expensive but shit quality, like the shittiest pair of pants here is $120, dont like it? boohoo nigga the import one is even more expensive
  2. eventually shit is gonna get even more expensive and worst so imports are gonna be cheaper again so trump is gonna pass import bans to protect muh industry, now you can only buy domestic which is gonna be even shittier and cost more because you just kneecapped their competition and all factories collude to keep prices up and quality down, pay up or wear a trash bag you broke nigger
  3. because sales will drop there will be less stores so less jobs, factory jobs will not compensate for that loss, plus more sales will be moved online to get more profits
  4. less sales means less financing because shit only works at scale, you are gonna have to save to pay cash for a lot of stuff you now buy in installments, every amerilard is gonna have to live with what they have and deal with it, learn to repair your shit because you wont be able to afford anything new
  5. less scale also means everything gets more expensive, shit gets way cheaper when you build it by the millions but if you are only selling hundreds you cant justify a big factory so the price goes up again
  6. because the economy contracts and the state needs money they are gonna raise your taxes, then invent new taxes, they'll say the new taxes are temporary but it will stay forever
  7. some companies will pivot to other shit that requires less employees, others will leave the country and many more will simply disappear because the economy is smaller now and they cant get enough customers to just break even and again theres no credit anymore
  8. remember mortgages? say goodbye to those, need a house? you gonna have to put $250k on the table, cash. Cheaper houses than now sure, but can you save a quarter of a million? no you cant, I doubt 1 in 20 amerimutts can

I mean, countries that make clothes are dirt poor. What is Cambodia going to import from USA to stop having trade proficit with it? Their whole economy is exporting cheap clothes to import cheap chinese stuff. They're not going to buy nuclears reactors, GPUs and Ford F-150s.

If I could give the Stonk Bro's who are currently felted some sage advice. Don't sell, or barring that, do a lateral transfer to better bets rather then just hard cash. The first pile of money I made was on Ford Stock in 2008 that I purchased after GM declared bankruptcy. Everyone was expecting Ford to go next. But they didn't. Bought in at 4 dollars a share. Year and half later I sold it for a near 3x. Once you are on mister bones' wild ride, you have to ride. The market was overdue a correction anyway. Trump just lit the match.
