I don’t think the US would target it intentionally but I could see Taiwan, India, Japan, Vietnam, or South Korea trying to take it out.

Maybe it was some anti-John Kerry sticker with his name on it? Seems strange to have both a 2004 Bush/Cheney and 2004 Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker on the same vehicle. It's funny to encounter cars with ancient political advertisements on them despite how much time has past, it shows off some cultural artifacts and says something about the automobile's owner.

I think the difference between some people and doomers is that we understand tariffs are risky, but we see that the potential good in the long run outway the risks associated with them, they on the other hand don't see a single positive in tariffs and just believe it's only risk. Manufacturing needs to come back, and i'd rather take a risk now that could backfire than to just slowly die like we were for decades.

The last time I recall any country successfully setting up an industry in India was when the British set up the East India Trading Company. They had to become the second most powerful military force in the world just to keep the Indians in line.

Apple will have to do something similar if they want their venture into Pooland to work. They'll have to turn their factories into fortresses with private military contractors turning the Indian workers upside down and shaking them to see what falls out of their pockets. And even then, they'll have to set up training camps to brainwash their employees into using toilets so they don't turn the place into a fucking sewer.

I don't try to be mean to doomers but if you not gonna have at least a shred of hope that things can get better why even continue to live?

NPC's being NPC's, they can't tell when a market is shifting to take advantage of new international conditions, they just run the preloaded scripting.

Always amusing to see these people act like they're American Nobility, owed a seat at the table. They have a lower approval rating than chlamydia. Didn't Trump bypass this by just realizing he doesn't have to LET the white house press pool decide it's own membership, he can take that away from them and bypass them having a fit that he banned the AP from their list?
