The Economic Collapse of 2025 - Are you tired of winning yet?

i’ve never wanted the ability to see which country users are from than this moment

now that the free ride has ended i’m expecting lots of whining from communists who have been mooching off of American superiority for decades

None of these countries will change their shit, they'll just begin deficit spending which will take years to destroy their economies and sadly the US isn't willing to play the long game for that to happen.

We should cut off all foreign aid to any countries that don't allow true free trade. If the EU wants our shit, they better pony up a nice compromise.

We should still leave NATO though.

The same fags who are crying about this shit are the same ones who for the past 75 years keep saying neoliberalism, free trade will solve world hunger and poverty anytime now and cry about deficits and debt while saying the US needs to spend 500 gorillion on defense to install a LGBT friendly government in Sudan or something cause muh democratic values.

Sure it ended being a good thing for the American worker!

It's incredibly funny seeing the Chinese government and partnered firms go all in on automation and uplifting their shrinking labor force into more productive and higher value production, meanwhile Americans fetishize the imaginary freedom lovin' alpha male factory man, who worked 12 hour shifts to send his son to college for a better life so he wouldn't have to follow in his footsteps, until he broke his pelvis and got no pension because unions are communist.
It's hard for me a non-burger to understand how unions are communist. Unions are centrists at best, they exist to negotiate better wages (capitalist) and more workers rights (turns into better wages so also capitalist).
I suppose most of them are left leaning socially? I don't know. Unions can be pushy and scummy. We've seen unions in bed with the bosses of people they're supposed to represent and pushing utterly retarded shit because of undue power. It's a mess really. I would treat it on a case by case basis.

Don't worry, the sweatshops will employ all those Mexican immigrants.

...Oh wait.
America won't be having any textiles/sweatshop factories. It's just way too expensive. Even China is starting to get rid of them, they've been moving to countries like Indonesia, India and Bangladesh.
With high levels of automation, average people keep their blue collar jobs and 9-5s. Engineers and the such work on maintaining and improving the process, instead of churning more shitty vidiya and other garbage nobody wants. It won't change much, but it will make America "make stuff again". This seems logical to me as a good quality product from countries like China aren't that competitive compared to European ones. So it's 15% cheaper? Shipping and VAT/GST etc.? Might as well support local!

So... the US can defend free trade, but the second it runs into any opposition, it will just cower back to avoid conflict?

Now that's what I call power!
The US is focused on China right now, by comparison Iran is small fry. If the US wanted to destroy their military they could do so in a matter of weeks. Look up Operation Praying Mantis, the US Navy has destroyed the Iranian Navy before. Do you really think the US couldn't deal with the Houthis? If they let Israel off the leash they could glass them on their own. It just isn't convenient right now to start another giant protracted guerilla war in some 3rd world shithole. Unless Trump just goes ahead and nukes the enire country that conflict couldn't be resolved quickly by any means.

all the retards bitching just need to pull themselves up by their boot straps and get another job.
It’s probably the exact opposite. Nobody IIT looks more juvenile then the morons gleeful over the market conditions. Working adults who vote and actually contribute meaningfully to the economy are properly invested. Yes, the fifteen dollars in quarters you have stashed in your piggie bank are safe from the current turmoil—the rest of us are not.

He is finally doing what was prophesised in 2016, upending the chess table.
Is it good? Don't know. Are the usual suspects kvetching? You bet.
It somewhat pains me to say, no amount of "Trump is dumb he should have done X" will change the fact he is the only human being at this point in history who could even attempt anything resembling this.
Trump may very well be Sulla, showing the next generation how it is done, how to enact concrete change. To judge the outcome will ironically be the job of generation BETA!

Executive orders are concrete change?

Naw

You can hate neoliberalism and still think that Troonald is a fat gay retard.

Nobody’s scared of Iran’s army like it’s the Persian Avengers or some shit. The Iranians at best have operated for decades thorough arming Shia proxies in the region (I.e. Hezbollah and Houthis as examples) and being their administrative managers for their terroristic BS. The US could wipe half their military before lunch if provoked, but the real problem is that if you poke the hairy Persian bear, it’ll set the whole oil market on fire, shut the Strait of Hormuz, and suddenly oil costs $200 to 300$ per barrel while the global economy gets suplexed into a recession. It’s not fear of Iran’s strength, it’s fear of their ability to cause a biblical oil panic on the way out.

All you rightoids and MAGAtards cheering for this shit should know it’s all fun and games until tens of millions of Americans lose their jobs and can’t pay their bills.
Those “rich people” who are the “only ones who own stocks”. They don’t take losses. They cut losses. Their companies keep taking hits like this much more and they’ll cut/layoff employees until it gets down to a sustainable number.
So what should future generations do then? Just accept the fact that they'll be able to afford less and less with time?

Also, lose their jobs how? Do people think companies will just close down and say "Well, I guess we won't do business in the US!" and kiss goodbye a large part of their profit?

Fuck all them other countries. We shall witness the rise of a new American Empire.

Btw just learn how to make the stuff you need you fucking niggers. Just because you can’t Amazon deliver your slop to your door doesn’t mean your life is over now. Grow food. Fix what you’ve got. Buy property so you’re not lighting 2k on fire every month in rent.
"Let's start living in the manner that Russian babushkas survived the 1990s" doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.

Public investments for what? Subsidies for what exactly? If it's cheaper to make it somewhere else then they will.
That's still the case with tariffs, though. It'll still be cheaper to produce stuff in China, tariffs are just a different way to put a thumb on the scale.

It's funny that Trump, of all people, would be the one to end America's veneration of "free-market capitalism" and the "rules based international order"...
