The Economic Collapse of 2025 - Are you tired of winning yet?

It is pretty much safe to say that any calculations about the Taiwan Invasion can be thrown right ouf of the window since Xi will trigger it ahead of schedule

I had a bet with my friends that it was going to be after the Summer Olympics, but looks like it'll be way sooner

So he can know which countries are on our side and which are on the side of the PRC, this is pretty simple stuff bruh and the damage is actually quite minimal and mostly temporary.
The damage isn't temporary. This bullshit undermines investment in US manufacturing and increases prices for no gain.
Nobody is going to begin a multi-year factory construction based on prices and incentives that radically change every 12 hours based on the whims of someone who knows nothing whatsoever about economics.

And what do you mean "on the side of the PRC", this was an attack on all countries and some had the power to defend themselves on short notice, while others were still in the discussion phase when Trump chickened out.
China has nothing to do with it. China's biggest and most important ally Russia is exempt from tariffs altogether, for reasons the Trump administration wants to keep secret.

China is literally evil. They enslave people, feed them gutter oil slop, and are actively engaging in genocide. I would not care if all 10 supercarriers and every strategic bomber we have in the inventory were mobilized to raze China to the ground.
"Bro, like, if we just invest in them and show them the merits of the free market, they'll become a democracy! And we'll get cheap goods! It won't backfire and finance all of their worst impulses, that's a xenophobic conspiracy theory!"

have you ever own a business? trust is very very important. Most countries don't trust you now.
Spare me this bullshit, nobody in international politics or business really trusts each other to begin with. Everyone is ultimately looking out for the best possible deal for them and theirs and anything other than that is a secondary concern at best.

I keep seeing that people say plastic cheap tat will get more expensive, but even then, we live in the age of the 3d printer. Literally find the one dude in your neighborhood with a 3d printer and ask for a similar model to that little plastic doodad. You can even sit there and watch a video of some latvian kid dying in a thresher if the authenticity is that important to you.

You mean like the baby boomers (who gave away everything to China) used to have?
There's barely a technological gap between China and the US anymore, in fact in many sectors they're already ahead. Outsourcing accelerated it, but you couldn't stop it the same way you couldn't stop Africans getting firearms.
I'm sorry you missed on the time where the US was the only industrial power and Europe a smouldering crater, but it is what it is.

It is very very understated of how shitty living with or near China is, and how evil they are as a country and a people. You need to live as their neighbour to just understand how much evil and shitty China and the mainland chinese are. They are pretty much the Israel and the Jews of Asia, and perhaps even worse because they have no justification about being "chosen people" or anything. They are evil simply because they can

Holly shit, Trump is literally raping you American cunts for all your worth.

Right before he announced the 90-day moratorium, people in the know, in other words, Trump and his associates had pumped fuck tons of money into stocks; the news came out, and BOM, giant gains. They can now sell on top, then the tariffs will return when they want to make fuck tons of cash, and the stocks will crash again.

GG America, you are getting fucked into the dirt, and you whores will worship him for it.
A fucking MAZING!

That would be comical, and I say this as someone who resents war and would like all of it to stop.

China does not have military parity with the United States, and I'd challenge you to list five pieces of technology or infrastructure the Chinese have actually innovated on. All evidence suggesting they've made some Great Stride Forward either exists in sensationalist articles (that seem to come from nowhere and have no follow-up), CGI footage or Tiktok videos that exist to brainwash western children.

Yeah for all the yapping of globalists I don't think there are really any functioning democracy in countries outside of Europe that had to fight centuries of war to get there. You can't accelerate progress with money in fact it just makes things worst.

Nobody is going to spend billions of dollars to rebuild American industry unless they have a good reason to believe that it will pay off in the long term. Trump raising tariffs with no larger plan and no concern for economic reality is not a good reason. It will be far safer for companies to just continue what they're doing and enjoy the higher prices.
Tech companies could. They have been facing intellectual theft from China and protectionist measures from Europe for decades now. There is also the fact that the tech bubble is looking a lot like the dotcom bubble and shoring up supply lines + diversifying their portfolios would be a good move for them.
Then you have the smart investors like Buffet who pulled out billions of dollars before the market crashed and is sitting on billions in cash right now. Billions he needs to start using before inflation eats away it's purchasing power. If the Trump admin can make it advantageous for these two different groups to start dumping cash back into the US economy, they wont even have to be asked to do it. Pure business acumen will dictate it.
Of course the left and their allies need this to not work so they will throw up as many roadblocks as possible in order to try and prolong the suffering of a changing economy.

You mean his Tarrifs worked. Also lmao, China is at 125%, holy kek.
You really will buy anything that Trump sells you, huh?

First the rationale was that Mexico and Canada needed to be tariffed to stop the flow of fentanyl. Then the worldwide tariffs would be "temporary pain" to encourage manufacturing to come back to America. Then it was about making the cost of living too high for H1B visa immigrants to come to the US (tech companies will pay them the minimum they need to live in the US no matter what btw), Now it's about getting other countries to remove their tariffs on the US, manufacturing, immigration, and drugs have now been forgotten.

Remember how they denied any "rumor" of a 90-day pause yesterday, only to publicly announce it this morning? Do you not fucking see how incompetent this administration is? Of course you don't.

I wonder what bullshit excuse MAGAdroids are gonna accept next. The reality is that Trump wanted to spite other countries by tariffing them, but didn't understand that tariffs come with grave consequences to the American people (AKA: the people who determine the Republican Party's grip on power next year), but he's too stubborn to admit he fucked up, so now the economy must suffer until reality fits Trump's delusional fantasies.
This trade war is a battle of ideals. The old world order and the rebirth of America. I refuse to stay chained to the 20th century any longer. It must be burnt to the ground and started anew. It'll be hard but it'll be worth it. That is Trump's vision and why I voted for him.
Bro at least wipe your lips after you're done sucking Trump's cock.

China can't even make combustion engines or ball berings.

Then why not simply impose tariffs on China? Why all the horseshit and damage if that wasn't actually the plan?
Because China is already prepared to went on a massive Trade War against the US for years. What they and no one else have prepared is a global economic crisis where White House put EVERYONE on tariff. If China is the only one that got slapped on with the tariff, they can probably survive by diverting trade to others. However in a situation of global economic crisis that just happened, China couldn't just sell their goods to other countries because they themselves wouldn't be in a position to buy anything
