Most wrestling trainers nowadays don't give a shit about making it look real anymore, but even if they don't the wrestlers themselves don't know how to make it exciting anymore or they purposely do it this way so they can get their shit in.

So Joey's having another meltdown over politics because he's upset that he can't preorder the Switch 2, and is sperging out about tariffs.

Also last time I checked he lives in Cypress which is in Orange County and it hasn't voted Republican since 2016 so I wouldn't really call it the Red Part of SoCal anymore.

And finally I've found some interviews that Joey has had. One was with some fatass after his return match who likely lusts over him where he claims that he believes in himself now, one was a very short interview at some Joshi event, an interview with some little girl featuring his match at the anime convention, and he mentions that he got into wrestling playing Smackdown 2 Know Your Role for the PS1 and because of that he wrestles like a video game character, or so he thinks, and finally an interview with another fatass and a troon.

I'm watching this AEW PPV tonight and even though he's not my cup of tea - it's so funny watching a true professional like Speedball Bailey wrestle the exact way that Bandit wishes he could. Watching a few gifs of Bandit in this thread while the match is going on is very telling.
