I've seen it, played it and I agree that it's impressive, but I don't understand why Microsoft is advertising it so hard. Cause an average Joe will look at it and think:

Wait, is that a game from almost 30 years ago, that could run on Pentium 2 machines? And now you need cutting edge hardware to run it at such a low resolution? And it doesn't even work properly? What exactly is being accomplished here?

I've seen it, played it and I agree that it's impressive, but I don't understand why Microsoft is advertising it so hard. Cause an average Joe will look at it and think:

I definitely think it's aimed at investors in the AI space who do recognize the impressive aspects of it and putting it out there to play and not just be a recorded demo is a power move, even if most of the people playing it will just think it's a novelty for 5 seconds and click off.

Art is abstract. Art is meant to invoke a relatable feeling of humanity between two people through a piece of creation.

AI art isn't "better cause it's objectively of higher quality" but it serves much the same purpose as the art it competes with: Porn and memes. That's neat, I didn't know he made a new company. I was disappointed he didn't name his aerospace company UAC. I'll have to watch the Rogan episode, also had no idea he went on it. Tech bro tranny progressives I get being pro trans and pro AI because at that point they just buy into all kinds of hype. I also get the traditional conservative being against both, because new technology and new social trends like transgenderism are in direct opposition to tradition. Pro AI anti trans people are just boomers who just don't care and think it's neat. But there is a major dissonance to people who are pro-trans yet anti-AI, because the same kind of arguments they use to defend trans, are the same arguments they use against AI.

These are the same people who do not believe in gender being a non-social construct and has roots in biology, yet at the same time in their eyes, Art is rigidly defined, and conveniently definitionally excludes any usage of AI. They think that transgenderism has always existed in history and wasn't a new trend, meanwhile they describe Artificial Intelligence as a field of computer science as a tech trend, ignoring the history of innovation and application that lead to what we understand them now.
