Iran getting nukes is a threat to a lot of other countries than Israel, and you're willing to let that happen just to stick it to the Jews.

You're an idiot, but at least you're forthright about it.
You don't understand, we have to let the apocalypse death cult get nuclear weapons, doing so will totally Own The Libtards Sephardics!

Stuxnet still blows my goddamn mind.
Duqu 2.0 was more impressive. Self replicating virus that existed only in RAM and was able to infect the entire network so that when a computer was restarted, it would automatically pull from other computers on the same network to reinfect itself

>go to US politics thread
>shocked when people in it like America
Sometimes I wish the "if you don't care, don't post" rule applied to this thread for third-world retards who hate America and simp for Muslims.

Undoubtedly. Iran with nukes deters Israel from perpetually trying to fuck with its neighbors, steal land from multiple countries, flooding millions of refugees into Europe (as is their stated goal, get military age men out of greater Israel) and commit genocide on a regular basis. Leads to peace in the region and less mass Muslim migration to the west as a result. Mutually assured destruction for the win.

Lol it's a net win for the US and Europe, but really who cares, it's Israel's problem, not ours. Let them deal with it.

Like I said, I pray every day Iran gets nukes.

Like Iran is so desperate to lob nukes at Israel, they've managed to put it off my entire adult life while their greatest enemies threaten to nuke them on a semi regular basis. Who are the bloodthirsty maniacs again?
Wow dude, I bet you’re “not like other edgelords,” right? I’m feeling some “very special” vibes coming off yoi

US NIH scientists are not allowed to go to conferences without permission, even if they pay their own way - Article/Archive
WASHINGTON, April 10 (Reuters) - Researchers at the U.S. National Institutes of Health have been told they cannot attend scientific conferences and meetings without official permission, even if they pay their own way and go during time off, three current and former NIH scientists told Reuters.

The policy was communicated verbally by managers in at least three of the NIH's 27 institutes and centers but not put into writing, the three sources said. It covers all scientific meetings including conferences, workshops and investigator meetings even if they are local or free, they said.

"We may not attend a conference even if we pay our own way and use personal leave. Even if we don't use our (NIH) affiliation. What one does on their own time is not anyone else's business," said one currently employed NIH scientist who requested anonymity for fear of reprisal.

Virtual attendance is allowed, the same scientist was told, but not all conferences and events have that option.

The NIH and the Department of Health and Human Services did not respond to requests for comment.

The administration of President Donald Trump issued written guidance on February 26 to NIH staff prohibiting official travel for 30 days, including for scientists participating in conferences to present or learn about scientific data, according to an internal notice seen by Reuters.

The policy was part of a wider moratorium on external communications that also included meetings with research grant recipients. It comes amid Trump administration directives to freeze billions of dollars in NIH funding and cut 1,200 of the agency's staff.

The external communications policy was never formally extended but two of the sources say they were told it remains in place.

NIH scientists say attending conferences helps them determine whether outside researchers are on track with federally-funded studies. They provide a meeting point where discussions of and proposals surrounding future research takes shape.

Dr. Josh Fessel, former director of NIH's Office of Translational Medicine at the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences, said he recently attended a conference on a rare disease that traditionally would have been attended by NIH scientists. This time, none were there in person.

"Conferences are where you can hear and can present the newest cutting-edge science; the stuff that hasn't been published yet," he said. "It was quite a blow to the morale of the patients, families, and other scientists in attendance."

Edit: Justice Department also bars its attorneys from going to American Bar Association Events Article/Archive
WASHINGTON, April 9 (Reuters) - The U.S. Department of Justice on Wednesday barred its attorneys from traveling to or speaking at American Bar Association events, in the latest salvo by President Donald Trump's administration against the nation's largest voluntary lawyer group.

U.S. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche in a memo seen by Reuters said the ABA had been engaging in "activist causes" contrary to the department's mission, including by suing to block Trump from cutting funding to foreign aid organizations.

Jumpstart your morning with the latest legal news delivered straight to your inbox from The Daily Docket newsletter.

"The Department is actively litigating against the ABA, yet the Department continues to expend taxpayer dollars on ABA events," Blanche wrote.

He said while the ABA is free to "litigate in support of activist causes," he did not want the department to participate in events in their official capacities that might undermine its mission to remain "fair, effective and even-handed."

The ABA had no immediate comment.

Justice Department officials have often used ABA events to roll out new policies on corporate enforcement. Former Attorney General Merrick Garland spoke at the ABA's white-collar conference last year.

However, the Trump administration has criticized the ABA, which has about 150,000 paying members, after the organization made public statements that the Republican president is threatening the rule of law and for condemning government officials’ attacks on judges and law firms.

A White House spokesperson in March dismissed the ABA as a as a "snooty" organization of "leftist lawyers." Federal Trade Commission Chairman Andrew Ferguson in February barred political appointees to the commission from holding leadership positions within the ABA or participating in its events.

The ABA also faces mounting pressure from the Trump administration and other Republicans to end its lawyer and law student diversity and inclusion efforts.

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi in February threatened to revoke the ABA’s status as the government-designated accreditor of U.S. law schools while calling for the elimination of its law school diversity and inclusion standard.

What's even dumber is it sounds like it's all part of a month-long moratorium on spending, not an official policy. Another misleading article.

But since like AD 610... not really on speaking terms, right? I think 1400 years is enough to call a group your ancestral enemies.
Jews weren't really in the middle east in large numbers in 610. Sephardics were living in Spain and Portugal and Ashkenazis were living in Eastern Europe. They don't have a large history with Persia after Cyrus and before the Iranian Revolution. Like Catch the Rainbow pointed out, there are/were factions within Iran working with Israel during Iran Contra.

If Iran has 60% enriched uranium the majority of the work in getting to 90% for use in a nuclear weapon is already done. Around 80% of the work is the first 5% of enrichment. Going from 60 to 90 percent can be done in a few weeks.
I was worried you were going to pull some Steiner Math, but everything you said checks out. The Non-Proliferation Treaty allows for enrichment below weapons grade. Any country in the treaty could theoretically perpetually maintain "2 weeks to break out".

Steiner Math:

The problem is that they have the capability to produce weapons-grade uranium and have done a ton of shit in the past to make a lot of people very nervous about them getting remotely close to nuclear weapons. All they have to do is produce the necessary material, go "whoopsy doopsy stalker children," and then point nukes at people. Even one nuke can kill millions.

It's not like if New Zealand developed nuclear weapons. We are talking about a country that has a stated goal of destroying other nations, openly backs terrorists operating in other countries (many of which are responsible for killing Americans), constantly threatens to back out of the IAEA over minor foreign policy disputes, and has a long history of killing and murdering its own citizens.
No major disagreements
The fact that you do not acknowledge this difference is silly and you're either doing it because you're stupid, a shill, or you're hoping to do some whataboutism with regards to the United States.
What is silly is all the back and forth and dodgy debate tactics, when my original point was that the DNI report assesses that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon. The unwillingness to agree to that basic fact reveals the motives of those replying.
Or, worst of all, you're going to bitch and moan about the Jews.
"Worst of all", oy vey.
Do they have nukes right now? Probably not. Do they have the ability and know-how? Yes. Is that good for global security or even the United States? No, it's not. Fuck the Iranian government and fuck its apologists. They are scum and deserve to be bullied.
Can't think of a current government regime I am much of a fan of. High stakes brinkmanship (bullying) with a desperate and unstable one seems unwise. I prefer when Trump finds a non-escalating solution; like with rocketman over in North Korea.

For action to be taken.
Got any actions in mind? How risky do you like your strategies? No risk; full turtle? BossmanJack all-or-nothing Big Win vs Nuclear Armageddon?

Bombing or getting Iran to agree to dismantle all nuclear sites are the only options. Iran is in a uniquely weak place right now and all previous solutions extended the timeframe to act but never solved the problem. It comes down to B2s hitting Iran or libya style surrender.

This does seem to indicate that, despite kvetching from the traitors at home that China will be able to shrug off the tariffs, it's already hitting China hard.
The only issue I see right now in playing this game of chicken with China, is that the Chinese government is, historically, completely willing to let hundreds of millions of people starve to death for the smallest of reasons.

Israel never flooded refugees into Europe
Lol all non Jews google HIAS, ask yourself why millions of Syrians now live in Europe, why this guy wants to blame Catholics instead of taking responsibility for his own peoples actions and why dozens of Israeli government officials have stated it's Europe's duty to accept the millions of people from Palestine Israel is currently trying to ethnically cleanse.

Also lol at Greater Israel not existing while Israel expands as we speak into West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon AND Syria simultaneously.
third worldist retards like you -- nigger
Excuse me, have you said thank you once? Maybe show some gratitude to the country and people whose relentless generosity ($100s of billions of our tax dollars last I checked) allow you to have socialized healthcare, a world class military, a nearly free university system.... Show some respect for the people that keep your otherwise pathetic little hovel in existence.

Imagine the chutzpah talking to your benefactors like that. I would never behave so disrespectfully if I was so indented to someone and constantly begging them for more cash.

Waiting for my apology and my thank you.

Your "just google it" link specifically states the uranium is "enriched up to 60%". This is below fissile grade uranium to build a nuclear bomb with. Your link has no evidence Iran is refining their fissile uranium to weapon's grade.
Good job on reading a quarter of my image, maybe one day you won't get tired, and finish reading things. 60% converts to 90% in hours.

Your inability to read makes this pointless.

Fuck 'em, they aren't anyone in the west's problem and starving the populace is a good trigger for revolutions.
