My professor had what I can only describe as a mask off moment. Basically claiming that news needs to be controlled as a necessary part of a democracy, controlling access to news that promotes "emotional manipulation" like Fox. Also said that CNN is actually a pretty centrist or even right leaning organization. The main claim to shock everyone out of logical thought was to say that hitler gave out radios as a means of propaganda that only tuned into his supported radio stations. Then said that germany was so good to put heavy limits on their speech so prevent nazism, but our dirty american media like twitter is giving a rise to propaganda that they can't stop with laws, which is why they have tried to get into american companies and regulate them. Finished it up, with a cherry on top of putting a video on canvas of a neuroscientist from the NIH saying conseevatives have a smaller amygdala, that makes them less social and unable to understand world events.

I think if null was in that room that man would have been ventilated.
And you just let him spout utter bullshit like that? Back in college I argued with my lost professors constantly. Hell, I did that back in high school. These people deserve zero respect and shouldn’t be allowed to spout their nonsense without any pushback

Conversely, the vast majority of right wing whites see Israel as a canary in the coalmine of how western civilization will be treated: a civilized and successful society defending themselves against a horde of r-type producing monsters who are all citing the underdog fallacy as a reason they should have free reign to kill and take it all. When sign tappers and others say "MIGA MIGA FELL FOR IT AGAIN!! CUCKSERVATIVES WORSHIP ISRAEL" they're making the mistake of assuming every right-winger has been daily browsing /pol/ for the past 15 years, and agreeing with everything the totally white posters post there.
Another thing too, if you ask a normal person what they'd think about Israel, you'd get one of 3 responses:

1: "Don't particularly care for it."
2: "It's a overall good thing, I support them fighting."
3: "I oppose it, they have to stop the genocide/war/whatever fucking term the left comes up with." (sanest pro-palestine supporter)

You only really get the "KILL ALL JEWS/FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA" people in the big cities, college students, etc.

Israel, for all it's bad, does serve some good to the US, otherwise we'd leave them high and dry in '48, '67, etc.

Not to mention the whole Palestine movement kinda hinges on disbanding Israel, which turns off a lot more people than you expect.

Yeah you used to be able to successfully complain if they retaliated

The difference is Covid was abused so the democrats could gain almost total control of the country to sabotage Trump and win an election.
Sure. Trump wasn't in full control of the situation. And I argue he isn't now. He's committed to this action and the response from other countries he can't control is what will determine the outcome at the end of 90 days. This is a gamble and a risk, one I understand the reasons for taking. But a gamble and a risk none the less. If you can't see that or admit it, then you're a fucking idiot.

So much of it was ignored, and nobody lost their jobs. Walmart temporarily switched to delivery only and you had to wear a mask to see your doctor, but that was it
Where I live, it was much the same. Life went on pretty much unabated aside from a few mild inconveniences. However that doesn't stop the constant complaining from folks about how terrible the lock-down was and how it destroyed their lives.

Reddit has been saying that literally every single major news outlet has been "sane-washing" Trump simply by just reporting on him and what he does since it became obvious that he was going to slaughter Kamala.

The NYT genuinely has double digit articles/opinion pieces on him every single day saying he is Hitler 2.0 but apparently they are secretly on his side because they stop short of suggesting that he should be assassinated.

The right are retarded as fuck a lot of the time and i don't agree with a whole lot of their ideals but i find the left to be genuinely scary. Just utter fucking unhinged lunatics who are willing to harm people or advocate for murder based on what they have been told is the "correct" opinion-of-the-day from high command.

Scary stuff. An unthinking drone army.

Hasan Piker, vaush, frogan, snow white cunt, kanye west, ishowspeed, kyle kalinsky .

Yeah, and consider that Israel has become quite non-hebrew, going as far as not practicing the religion altogether as of lately, which is absolutely ironic considering that their religion predates Western culture thousands of years.

Maybe that's the true way kikes die, by stopping worshiping their violent God and dropping judaism, rather than with an Islamic missile.

The difference is how crazy your state and local government wanted to go with it.

But so here’s where I’m at. People on both sides of the political divide have agreed that we should decouple from China, or at least drastically scale back the trade relationship, because even if you’re someone who sneers at manufacturing as an engine of wealth creation, you probably understand that it’s not good if we depend on our chief geopolitical enemy for antibiotics, surgical tubing, steel, copper, etc etc etc

the reflexive shift of Jewish support towards Trump
AP has it as a 2% shift over 2020. Black women swung more than twice that amount. I’d also wager that this was largely the result of Orthodox population growth.

That said, I’m not overly interested in national stats since the everyday American Jew is about as lib consensus-driven as the average unmarried woman in terms of voting patterns. I’m mostly just reading the tea leaves until we can get a better idea of just how important the Zionist project is to the Big Three: Wall St, Big Tech, Hollywood.

I'm close enough to graduating, and this is california. I've had an art teacher say that the value scale was racist, because a dude back in the day called the light side "high value" and the black side "low value". This professor started the class with saying that "misgendering" would get people thrown out. Trust me when I say that this isn't even worth the air I would expel arguing with this dude. It wouldn't change anyone's opinion in the class either, they live on a 24/7 feed of this. Him saying it out loud was basically just background noise at this point.

Basically this. You people don't know how bad it has gotten in places like this.

This is an interesting shortcut.

The effort hinges on a surprising new tactic: repurposing Social Security’s “death master file,” which for years has been used to track dead people who should no longer receive benefits, to include the names of living people who the government believes should be treated as if they are dead. As a result of being added to the death database, they would be blacklisted from a coveted form of identity that allows them to make and more easily spend money.

They're probably right and that's not how that database is meant to work. I bet DOGE did an estimate of how long it would take to spin up a parallel "alive but banned" database, and realized it would take years for it to be integrated into all the systems that already use the death file. So they just poked Trump for authorization and reused the death file.

Anyone remember e-Verify from back in the Bush II era? The first step in electronically verifying SSNs that illegals were trying to use. Bush's big contribution was making federal agencies and contractors use it. Everyone fought for years, adoption was spotty for decades. And private companies could usually just ignore it.

Now it's not even effective, making it likely that a copycat system at the SSA wouldn't be effective either.

A 2019 analysis by the Cato Institute, which supports increased immigration, found that while E-Verify used to be effective at spotting illegal immigrants, it was no longer so. The analysis estimated that the system only spotted the hiring of 16.1 percent of illegal immigrant workers in the fiscal year of 2018.
And this failure was what the previous generation of anti-immigrant Republicans fought for years to get going. This was the era that originally got them branded as anti-Hispanic, anti-immigration racists. Party of losers, indeed.

Instead of fighting a battle they knew was historically futile, DOGE cut straight to the most effective chokepoint they had available in the SSA. This is a hardcore results-based approach, straight out of startup culture, and I love it.

Proper government approach would have been to spend months in committee putting together a team to describe an outline of a system, then a year to bid it out to a contractor, then 3 years for them to develop it. Plus another 10 years trying to phase in mandatory use of it by all the relevant companies.

I am in awe at this consistent short-circuiting of the entire delaying, stalling, nerfing, subverting government apparatus. It's incredible in its application and efficiency. DOGE is a masterclass of effectively reforming government, and no one will fully appreciate it until after Trump and Elon are long gone.

My upbringing is from blue collar. I made/make my living in manufacturing from the floor to a leadership position at the same corporation. I work with suppliers/customers in all USMCA countries, China, India, Poland... I am acutely aware of the disparity of Import vs Domestic items in critical infrastructure.

Why is your professor acting like a Nazi?

>Where I live
Nigger, not everyone lives where you do. People who complain about it experienced the brunt of it.
