I kind of remember that. Meghan actually thought that being a royal would mean she'd get the top gig as a leading actress when all she had was a supporting gig on a TV show. Arnold Schwarzenegger, she is not.

She got the easiest ride (cough) of any royal woman I can personally recall, and the dumb bitch still couldn't hack it because she wasn't immediately promoted to queen.

And she couldn't be bothered to have Kate, William or anybody else ahead of her and Harry killed or removed in a coup. Isn't British history filled with stories of royalty being killed for just as, if not more, petty reasons? I guess Meghan really didn't know about the British Royal Family, because then she'd know the whole lineage could be filled with stories that could border on or reach the level of "reality is often stranger than fiction, because fiction has to make sense".

Can confirm it was always BS. There was HUGE goodwill for Meghan at first. Everyone was pleased for Harry and there was a frisson about the royal family having a member of color. It was an interesting story.

I can only speak for myself but many have said they experienced the same: The engagement interview made clear that she was a conniving and completely inauthentic person. It was actually shocking to me that anyone could have watched that and not seen it. Couldn’t have been more obvious. Especially when she said that the only thing she asked their matchmaker friend was “‘Well is he nice?’ because if he wasn’t kind, it just didn’t seem like it would make sense.” Just completely fucking fake.

Oh, it's so funny you mention this - I saw it at/around the time, and that was exactly my own 'penny-drop' moment with her. Like, "ohhh... this bitch is full of it". I'm surprised the engagement interview hasn't come up in the thread yet, now that I think of it. I have to admire my own prescience, because I specifically recall thinking she gave me a very 'aspiring Gwyneth' vibe. I just didn't realize at the time the sheer scale of the side serving of 'Batshit crazy' that went with it, but she has reliably entertained me since. I also loved the engagement interview for her attempts at playing the Diana-esque virginal teenage ingénue, as the mid-30s 'rode hard (on a yacht) and put away wet' divorcée she is. She's so stupid she doesn't seem to understand: Diana actually was a teenager (I think? Maybe 20) during her engagement interview. Meghan was about 15 years older. When most of us meet a woman of that age/life experience who talks like a bashful slip of a girl, we assume one of two things: she is either 1) putting it on for some simp she's trying to glom on to, because stupid/bitter men (cough) love that shit, or 2) she is actually retarded. I can't believe Harry fell for her, but I can't look away. She's literally so awful it's amazing.

I think I remember making a post in another thread speculating that Meghan wouldn't have the gall to announce some project in the wake of Kate announcing she had cancer, and I got a response of "you underestimate the personality type Meghan is". I feel like Meghan has another KF quality in that she likes her disputes to be as long, public, and ugly as possible. Even if Buckingham Palace doesn't play by those rules (seriously, there was a whole Helen Mirren film about how HM should address the death of Princess Diana).

I made these clips because I find the third expert’s input not that interesting and it’s just easier. But in general the Behavior Panel has done superb work analyzing H and M and frequently point out seeming untruths they come out with.

For example, in this case the British analyst Mark actually lives in Toronto and pointed out that Meghan could have gotten flowers close to where she lived the day she did the ho stroll for paps. He also points out that it was autumn in Toronto and you can see by her clothing that it was warm, so she almost certainly did not tell them to “Stay warm, guys!” She’s such a bullshit artist.

They also point out how the documentary makers deceptively edited this part, as H and M make claims of media criticism that were not in fact made by the headlines quickly flashed on screen. This happens a LOT in their Netflix show.

Funny that he’s been to the UK several times since the fighting in Ukraine started, but he only made it over there once he was hit by the biggest PR scandal of his life.

KCIII will be absolutely livid. He and Cammy are on a state visit to Italy and it’s their 20th anniversary week. Overshadowing the monarch, especially during a state visit, is a huge transgression.

Harry writes in Spare that William, Kate and their comms team were excoriated by his father’s comms team for even the hint of distracting the media. And Charles really minded about that.

So he knows only too well that this will deeply upset his father, who is still undergoing cancer treatment and is not out of the woods yet.
