A lot of his best tracks are not formatted in a radio-friendly way and luckily also contain none or extremely light blacktivism(usually from the features on the song).
College Dropout
- Very preachy album. Through the Wire is good. Slow Jamz is good. There are some other fine tracks on there but if you're new to it you probably wont like it. This is his most blacktivist album besides the stuff he did for Common (The black guy from John Wick. No, the other black guy.).
Late Registration
- This album is mostly fine. Touch the Sky is good and has a fun music video. We Major is good. Late, Addiction, and Diamonds from Sierra Leone are fine. Adan Levine is on this album so it's TJ Maxx approved. A lot of these songs make fun of black culture. You definitely heard Gold Digger.
Graduation is a killer album. Fuck you if you disagree. Especially the Japanese only release with Bittersweet Poetry.
808s is not a rap album. It is also Michael Jackson approved listening. I can't recall any instance of blacktivism or even the mention of race in this entire album. It is also a good album.
MBDTF is a blacktivist album and therefore sucks. It is almost as preachy as College Dropout. You definitely have heard Power, All of the Lights, and maybe Runaway. This is likely the era of songs youve been exposed to from Kanye. Elton John and everyone else you hate were involved in production. You will probably not like this album. Runaway is fine. Outside of the album he made an unreleased song in the middle of the night called "Never See Me Again" which is about offing himself and samples a song from a japanese singer who jumped off a building.
Yeezus
- This is where he starts getting noticeably bipolar in public. Black Skinhead, I Am A God, Hold My Liquor, and Blood On The Leaves are fine. Most songs on this album are fine minus a couple. You've probably heard or seen SNL make fun of Bound 2. He made a sequel with John Carpenter iirc.
He featured on a lot of songs here. They're mostly generic as they werent written or produced by him.
The Life of Pablo
- You probably wont like most of these. Fade is fine. No More Parties in LA gets ruined by Kendrick Lamar showing up and talking about being black.
Kids See Ghosts
- Ass
Ye
- Ass. I Thought About Killing You is probably where the institutionalization topic started getting brought up.
I Love It with Lil Pump was a meme for a bit.
Jesus Is King
- Grift. Ground zero of Kanye doing hymnal style singing for everything. He recorded Closed On Sunday on his phone. No blacktivism to my knowledge.
Donda
- Quantity over quality. A lot of unreleased tracks on here, but he had to replace people on them because of controversies. Most of these suck or sound the same but iirc there isnt any blacktivism. A lot of generic rap tracks with popular features of the time. Hurricane is alright. The Globglogabgalab is featured at the end of Remote Control.
Donda 2
- This was mostly used as a tech demo for a handheld sampling device he was selling. The technology behind it was cool but it didnt sell well. Flowers is good.
Jew saga starts. He does the Alex Jones show here and releases Censori Overload, which is pretty good and commonly used in "We are ALL going to make it" memes.
Vultures
- Nitrous saga starts. This is mainly led by Ty Dolla Sign so it's lightskin music. Burn is interesting because it sounds like Kanye's older stuff. Noticeable Kanye quality drop.
Vultures 2
- Nitrous saga peak. Kanye is not on most of these songs and they all sound like shit or are otherwise ruined by the worst features ever like Kodak Black who sounds like an actual retard. I literally cant recommend anything on this. One of the songs he is on was likely performed by AI, as someone found the exact Kanye voice generator and input seed to make the exact vocals used.
Bully (unreleased as of now)
- Not really a rap album. Complete 180 from everything he's been doing in the last decade. No antisemitism on it despite releasing the WWIII single like a week before this. Very interesting. No blacktivism, just talking about personal issues.
WWIII (unreleased, in progress)
- This is going to be the aforementioned antisemetic sound. A lot of zoomer rappers are hopping on to get famous from the shock value. Dave Blunts is on it but may not live to see the release date as he is literally somewhere between 500 and 600 pounds and in and out of the hospital.
