Postmortem Blinded by the Light

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Now I can no longer right-click the like button on user pages/DMs to copy the URL and use a different reaction than "like".

The RSS URLs aren't bypassing SneedFlare so Thunderbird is receiving the challenge and doesn't know what to do with it. So you'll need to petition Null to add the RSS URLs to the bypass list.

P.P.S. XenForo stores themes in the database without version control. It is not possible to Git themes. It is not possible to restore them. Only a database rollback was an option and I'd rather just fix it.

Most of the existing theme color alternatives are now available in the style chooser. They now all also support light and dark variations, including Stealth. I have added a High Contrast theme which is pure black.

While you are still working on the site, can you add a feature that let's us pet the slobbermutt?

If you mean near the page navigation at the bottom of the page, then I second this, it'd be nice to skip to the next highlight if I happen to be near the bottom of the page instead of searching for the current page's highlight or scrolling all the way back to the top.

I noticed on mobile the comic book background is gone. Is that a mobile setting or has something gone wrong?

Great job keeping this site running, Null. I ran a forum once off a template that I was modding and it was a pain in the ass, I can't imagine the crap you're putting up with.

this was a thing in one of our themes and i absolutely fucking despised it because you hit it on accident all the fucking time and there's no "go back to where i was fucking reading" button

The posts section (the part of the site you are reading right now) using a Serif font while every other part of the site uses Sans Serif is throwing me off. I know the old theme had this as well, I can't figure out why it's suddenly more noticeable.

I actually meant copying the
1744652437017.webp
at the top of highlighted posts to the bottom of the posts so I don't have to scroll up to the top of the post, but yes that is also a solid proposal IMHO

I did a brief search, but didn't see it brought up.

When moving from one Highlighted post to the next it now gingerly scrolls if the post is on the same page which seems less "snappy" than the old way it worked.

When furiously engaging with lolcow content I don't want time to digest what I just read. I want to keep packing in the information so that I lose most of the details by the time I'm done so I'm not mentally scarred by the activity.
