Ah! Yeah, I am VERY autistic with my information, most are actually on the Wikia and it's perferred you play in a specific Order in the Sims 2, for each hood, I can't remember which but I am pretty sure in PleasantView you play the Goths first then the Caliente's next. The real reason why Sims 2 was well done, was because of Will Wright, even though the game has his own ref and even his own Sim (iirc) and they constantly suck him off, you gotta give it to him Sims 2 is the only game in the series with Hair Physics, Couch/Bed Physics, Realistic Car Physics (The only game to ever feature a car drive out the driveway though it's a loading screen, Sims 3 just half asses it and teleports the car in the front of the lot and the sim comes out, but Generations can teach a teen to drive, Sims 4 still waiting on cars which I do not have faith for only because of Horse Ranch.) Realistic Cooking (I.E. Making the food and opening the counters, etc), shopping and ordering and other shit no one cares about, while also being the last in the franchise to do it.
While the games a buggy mess you can appreciate the cozy vibe given, sad I was born in the year it was released in and only grew up with Sims 3 before recently playing Sims 2 (First after buying Super Collection for 2.) and using abandonware sites to get the UC for my PC (Which incidentally, is now removed cuz EA repackaged the game and fucked up. Though, while clearing my SDD/HD second one after trying to release space after installing shit from gaming sites. I found out I kept Mr. DJ's Repacks folder and I am trying to torrent the copy since it's the only EXISITING copy I have left after DCMA's from EA. So that's that. so you can see why I am autistic about the game, it's sorta a guilty pleasure of mine to indulge, MatPat covered a few videos about it as with the Lore Centered SimsTuber The Sims Lore, as with another youtuber I cannot remember the name of (Some Pajeet who makes Did You Know Videos.) if you have any questions about the sims I might might have an answer to it.
